  • Well done Ethan, keep on hitting them over the heads for us all.

  • Supply and demand, simple

  • She likes him.

  • Is she drunk?!

  • Ethan Nadelmann is so professional. For how naive that Fox News bimbo was, he never tried to make her look stupid. He talked the whole time as if they were both on the same side. And if Fox News catered to true conservatives, they would be on the same side! But we all know that's not the case and Fox's viewers are just rural idiots who know more about their religion than the real world.

  • maybe the majority of people are just now coming to terms with the fact that our politicians might have serious investment in the pharmaceutical, tobacco, alcohol, and prison industries. or they must be in collusion with these 'cartels' via lobbyists. Their actions sure as hell create that correlation. >A plant that will grow on its own that might inhibit the MASSIVE PROFITS from pharm corporations(who compliment our FOR-PROFIT medical system. Too many nests to feather!! Again we will rise! ONE!

  • the mexico's gangs get 60% of their money just through marijuana.

prohibition never worked so it's really about time to stop this war on people.

  • I love listening to Ethan talk, he knows how to keep you focus, thats what the "sheeple" need, paying attention to whats Right!, not this crap you see on nightly news. Damn mainstream media. Hows it mainstream if its not with whats REALLY up to Date?

  • Hyperbole, lies, and farts--a typical Fox Business News interview.

  • This man talks sense - 1/ Take the multi-billion pound industry in illegal drugs away from gangsters, gun-runners and criminal gangs.

2/ Regulate, Educate and Tax (like we do with tobacco and alcohol already).

3/ Halve the prison population and the harm that prohibition causes to individuals and society as a whole.

Why are the worlds politicians so far behind the curve on this one? - Prohibition is the elephant in the court of the Emperor with no clothes.

  • when you look at portions of the american population, more americans want marijuana legalized than the sum of all americans who voted bush into office

  • Awesome.

  • The irony is overpowering. They're in a bar with drinks being served. That's rich.

  • yeah....so instead of legalizing, taxing, and regulating drugs which would save and increase taxes, barak is going to send millions in equipment and human resources to Mexico.....SMART!

  • especially considering the blatant fact that the cartels practically own the Mexican government.

  • It pretty much the other way around, the mexican govenment pretty much runs/owns the cartels.

    Same thing, really.

Its a win win situation form them. They get all the money secretly from the cartels, and then get millions in grants to pretend to fight the cartels they are infact running! Its truly ridiculous.

  • unfortunately american democracy still is unable to move and develop fast enough to be enabled to do what it takes to make a truly solid reasonable policy that could lead to a long lasting solution. in this case our classic inefficiency is quite the downfall. but what can one expect, its government, and ill blame religion driven conservatism for its perpetuating role too...

  • LEGALIZE!!

  • I love Nadelmann. He's always ready for any debate challenge. He knows his stuff.

  • Ethan knows how to pump me up..

He gives me the feeling that in 5 years time, this war will be over..

However, logically I think that this war as no end in site.. MARIJUANA alone *MIGHT* be legalized in a decade or two..

"why dont you stop sending drugs to us!"

I would love to see her say that to a drug cartel..

  • How she said it, and it seems as though many americans have the mentality.

That drug cartels all over the globe should all of a sudden have an apophany and think "wow.. what I am doing is really really immoral.. this isn't worth the millions! I think I will stop now..."
