I'm a professional Beauty Therapist and strip wax is a really bad way to wax eyebrows because it stretches the skin a lot therefore causing premature aging (sagging of the skin) and it's a lot harder to get a good result. You have to support the skin also and lay her down!

i am a professional. we are called esthetician's and there are a few things you need to know before going on with this. you need to be holding her skin taut when you apply the wax and especially when you rip the strip away. also, you should never put the wax that close to the brow itself. it's important to always put it below the brow and comb in the hairs you want to remove.

i kind of agree, you shouldn't wax over the highest part of your eyebrow otherwise you'll lose the individualness of your eyebrow! but a small amount of upkeeping can go a long way.

Thats ridiculous I have never seen eyebrows get waxed without waxing the top.

-Its really simple

- If you wax the top of the brows it loses its natural shape that the person has. Basically it will look like someone pasted a strip of an eyebrow onto your face just like a line ---------

- The right way is to get them waxed only on the "bottoms and middle" and leave the top alone, which will give a nice appearance towards the facial features without giving the pastry look like some people have ----------------

Do you have any tips for me? I have blond brows that are thin and patchy. Is there anything that I can do to get them to thicken and grow? I did dye them last week and that helped make them show up and finally give some shape to my eye, but they just don't grow. what kind of wax do you use and where did you get it?

I used Gigi wax for coarse hair, and I got it at Sally Beauty Supply. You need the wax as well as the warmer.
