@indemaTROY Just going to ask now. I've been playing MMOs since I was like 8. I've exhausted pretty much every f2p and p2p mmo except for Final Fantasy XIV, RIFT and SWTOR. So I wanna know in your honest opinion, will SWTOR quench my mmo thirst? Or will I do a few quests and be bored 30 minutes later? :/
Thank's for posting this. Was getting so tired of the M&K setup, game just wasn't fun anymore. Felt as though I was micromanaging a game instead of playing a one.
so i mapped all the keys and contoller buttons just like you did but when i log into the game and try to use it, it wont let me for some reason so do i have to go under keybindings or is there something i need to do in xpadder ?
Thanks for putting this up, big fan of Xpadder an use it quite abit (D&D) and few others, I use it with my Saiteks, kinda disappointed they never added in gamepad support like City of Heroes, Aion. ect. ect. Anyways, Im wondering what are the mouse button configs on your bottom right pad for? Been trying to figure out the best layout but its def. time consuming an any tips be appreciated! Cheers an Thnx!!
@chiggz Yeah, I'll ask my one friend he has been using his controller for TOR on multiple classes, I'll see if he can screenshot his layout so I can share it.
I've been using keyboard/mouse, but right now the way I've been playing my sniper I should be able to play with controller, just i sometimes have issues with the camera in the game.
@indemaTROY Thnx bud, got it all sorted out, didnt realize just how much stuff you can map too Xpadder, with the two buttons mapped to one(mouse) makes it so much easier, a lil tricky to get set up, but once you do, your good to go. Too bad the damn game is full of bugs an issues :/ Since last patch damn game causing my system to crash and/or hang as well as overheating my GFX card. Its the ONLY game to do this to my system too, apparently tons having the same issue. Anyways, thx
@lickmymidget07 i find playing with a controller is easier and faster then playing on keyboard when doing normal game activates like quest/crafting/explore... but when it comes to warzones or PvP with a group of people keyboard & mouse is best.
but doing quest and just running around killing npc mobs where u dont need alot of commands to get the job done controller does wonders
fyi: xpadder is amazing. i wasnt sure i wantd to buy it for 10$ but i said wth and did it anywhere...
@priestskorge yea... i dont normally mess with torrent sites, high risk for viruses which would cause a whole-nother problem thus why i just spent the 10$. i actually used JoytoKey program (one of the free ones out there) before i brought xpadder but it wasnt as simple as xpadder.
Question: for your command bar at the bottom. how do u chose abilities on your 2nd set? with the controller? (on your image shack pic i see a "z with a down arrow" and cant help to think thats the commanded used to use ability’s on your 2nd bar set but idk how you get that command"
@Jovant for people wondering about what i asked above i actually asked on another fourm and the answer was more or less there wasnt any why to map out commands for the 2nd set but what people have done is use the first set as controller buttons and 2nd set on abilitys or anything they want to use for the moment and not useally used every 5secs or so.

@jonldavis you can use any gamepad. you download and use software called "xpadder" to map the mouse/keyboard to the gamepad. It's 10 dollars.
