Unless I'm mistaken, you have to plot every single one of those notes by hand and by ear...

Yup... but with some knowledge of sheet music and timing it is quite possible to transcribe sheet music onto this. Either way, this takes time and effort... I've done this exact same song on GHTunes, and even with a Midi File helping me it still took a few days (on and off that is)

You do realize that he is using the 5 notes on numerous sounds. Orange is high, medium and low. Everytime it moves left to green and needs to get lower, it goes back to orange.

So I don't really get it......besides making the guitar track you can also sequence the the whole song like if you were using a midi program to compose/sequence? If so that is pretty sweet but I bet its complicated. I might get GH just to mess with this, haha.
