  • fundamental swing. i like it.

  • lose some weight!

  • Haha yeah...........right

  • im glad you all can hit further than him

  • @andycapper88 thanks

  • im 10 and i only 65 pounds and can ram it over a 200ft field

  • @blackopps45 and why are you on youtube posting comments. youre too young kid

  • Hes watching the ball come in but his heads moving out with the ball wich i think hes a little off balence at the end of his swing

  • when i was 10 i hit three homeruns in 1 game

  • you can easily name 5 things wrong with this kid, chub isn't muscle.

  • MY BROTHER IS A LOT STRONGER THAN THAT HE HIT A HOME RUN 100 FEET FROM THE FENCE AND HE IS 10

  • He hits hard, but I am not sure he can get around fast enough on fast pitchers. He shifts his weight too much from back to front leg. he would have the same power if he would not shift as much but work on quickening his hip rotation.

    Overall he looks good.

  • @MammaDtoDandZ stfu nobody gives af about your dumb little bro so yea fuck off

  • Prince 2.0?

  • Pretty good Not to be hate'n or anything but. My brothers ten he's pretty built and can hit the shit out of a ball

  • His idle must be Fielder you can tell, he even has his belly........

  • Anyone can pull the ball during bp its takes skill to go up the middle or oppo.

  • not too bad

  • LMFAO SPONSORED BY MACDONALDS MYSTBA11 top comments....

  • Dont eat macdonalds for BRUNCH BUD.....

  • IF he wasnt so fat he would probably be better, but you know how them blue gummed monkeys let their kids eat chicken , and grits, and twinkies, , his belly is preventing him from getting good hip rotation and also from seeing his little Char broiled pecker....

  • Very nice swing! Powerful indeed! Would like to see a little more linear movement though... Aka a little more weight shift before his powerful rotation. I'm talking inches of movement. He's gonna be fine! No fear! Swing big!

  • @buddywhite19 yeah , IF he gets on slimfast and adopted by a white family like johnathon Ohr then he would be fine...

  • He looks great! Young Prince Fielder. To all the LOOSER TROLLS of the world: @Myst3ryba11 @fiber1sucks,and everyone else on here dissing a lil kid. GET A LIFE! Or better yet, crawl back into the dark hole you came out of! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LIL MAN! Your future is bright!

  • dont say he is the most powerful hitter in the country, I can hit farther than that

  • he seems of balance after each hit

  • he needs to learn how to hit the other way. Just throw him outside all day.

  • @Myst3ryba11 lolz

  • overall good hitting keep it up kid u will be better in no time

  • throw him a curveball see the results

  • so thats what chicken and grape drink do....

  • Damn

  • i got a 10u travel team looks good

  • go have yourself a box of twinkies

  • @KunKFuPanda100 80 isnt that big of a deal i hit 87 land im 14

  • I would like to know what is "long" about his swing. I don't see an ounce of wasted motion, the barrel gets into the hitting zone early, the balance is perfect, but Long? How? The only issue, and it will hurt as older kids throw pitches that move, is the head. Every swing, at impact has his head up "watching" the flight of the ball. Fix that, keep working and go far.

  • This kid has a very good swing....Keep up the hard work and have fun with it. That's what it's all about

  • For everyone talking about him dipping his shoulder...watch every big league slugger and see what their shoulder does. That "don't dip your shoulder stuff is 70s and 80s bogus coaching.

One thing I will say is that this kid's swing looks a tad long. He can get away with it now but when he starts seeing heaters on the hands he's going to have a hard time catching up unless he gets a little more compact. Nice work Elijah!! Keep it up.

  • Mr Brooks, as everyone has stated, your title reeks of arrogance. Big turn off. Don't do that going forward...because this kid has it. That is a dynamite, loose, strong, athletic, controlled swing that is RIGHT ON! Dips shoulder? Exactly as it should be. Beware who you listen to, because you don't want to mess this up. Nice job Elijah! Jog the bases when you hit like that.

  • But he MUST lose all that weight if he wants to play at the higher levels.

  • I Like the potential this kid has. But as for the uploader, please change that title. It only pisses people off.

  • i would pitch him outside

  • now lets see him run the bases and feild....

  • @KunKFuPanda100 I'm 15 and I've seen low nineties. When I was 13 I was 80 also. It's not that a big an achievement

  • Im 13 and ive seen 80 @kunkfupanda100

  • That kid might be good but i am sure he is not the strongest

  • soft toss about 4 feet away my 10 week old dog can hit better

  • BS this kid is dippin and dropping his back shoulder like no tomorrow. Once he advances in leagues those hits are going to be infield pop flys and weak ground balls. Help this kid out NOW and FIX IT

  • lame, no skill

  • dropping shoulder. should fix that

  • Maybe if he didn't fall over backwards every swing he might be able to control where the ball went... up the middle is the best.

  • @dauce8 You should shut the fuck up he can have his own opinion, but you need to just shut up and stop loitering over the past by boasting about your little league achievements.

  • 0:41 shows it all

  • 13, and now i'm lifting weights for the first time, i hope this is my breakout year, i've hit plenty to the fence, but no homers. ever.

  • @SaintsandCards lol, whats wrong with me, i'm 14!!

  • Hahahahaha I'm way way better but I'm 12, I hit 315ft and throw 65-70 mph

  • @dspeer25 315 my ass

  • is that price fielder?

  • Dang.........he was breathin so hard he'd make a vaccum jealous

  • Dude you don't even have to throw him a curve!!! Throw him a Changeup and see if he can keep up? How fast is the pitcher throwin? 40? Maybe 50? I'm 14 and I'm hittin 80 mph fastballs! and on top of that 75 mph Curves! Come check my team out! Greenville Comets vs. Edwardsville Tigers immediately following the Cardinals vs. Cubs game Apr. 15 at Busch Stadium!! Go Comets/ Cardinals!!!!!!1 #31

  • @KunKFuPanda100 Nobody gives a shit. 80 is absolutely nothing so stop bragging about yourself to people you don't know

  • Yea.... Great swing on that youngster... Dumb title on the video

  • Comment removed

  • Too early to tell if he will develop into a decent power hitter. He might wind up being a Tony Gwynn type more than a Prince Fielder type. The main thing is that he keeps up the good work. He looks like he has a really nice stroke and loves swinging that bat! To you pathetic little pip squeeks who are (anonymously) calling this kid names.... Harmon Killebrew, Tony Gwynn, Steve Balboni, Bob Horner,Cecil Fielder, Prince...... and many more.... all fat guys who had great major leage careers.

  • Fat ASS!

  • just saying when he loads his hands come back to far

  • @awesomepersongamer48 shut the fuck up over-critical bitch, i guarentee you you weren't like this kid when you were 10..."ah actually I was, I like won my little league city championship"

  • i hit harder im only 8 years old

  • terrible swing

  • What was that

  • I would just like to mention the guy is throwing from 7 feet away and hes lobbing it too. Im not hating im just pointing it out.

  • you wouldnt get so many hate comments if u didnt put " the most powerful ten year old in the country." good swing though. nice vid.

  • how can you dislike this video. this kid is only ten years old and he can swing it. probably better than most of the people who are commenting on this video. he has a future. and why would someone throw this kid a curveball? how many ten year olds can throw a curveball? this kid does have power and he can hit. great swing for his age

  • @younggunz2121 hey guess what. stfu

  • he is not the most pawerfull 10 yr i am more pawerfull then that and i am a 10yr

  • @xxthe247mustangxx i highly doubt it

  • came around on alot of pitches. but still good for a ten year old!

  • Too much hate- everyone has flaws- good job parents getting him in the cages- keep working him hard and working him out- he'll fix whatever issues over time - uve got a few years til highschool to workout the kinks- very nice- ur doing something right cuz if u weren't they wouldn't be hating

  • he is cocking back at the last second instead of being loaded early on thats why he is hitting it backside instead of straight down the middle

  • Hes probs hitting those homeruns over a 200 foot fence right now, but wait til he gets into the big field. those "homerun hits" will be routine pop ups. & @junezx3RUGBY i agree with ou. his balance and bat speed will not be able to hit curve balls or any moving balls what so ever.

  • bats do make a difference in power =p which is why they are making colleges use bbcor bats because kids using the others were popping it over the fence with no effort

  • he has medioker power for his age and throw fast to get better hitting power over his career

  • He's got those powerful arms by all the drills he's done since he was a baby. Lifting 5 milkshakes a day from the table to his mouth has developed his good arm muscles.

  • Pulling his head every time! And he's black. That's 2 strikes!

  • I see a Pujols swing in his mechanics

  • @beef0714 he'd in the cages he doesnt need one...

  • i think he did pretty good, he had a good load, and full extention in his swing

  • Hands are way too high up. The should be no higher than your shoulder and swing is quick long. High school pitchers will blow it past you if you have a long swing

  • good hitting, core on plane with ball, now just work on bat speed and he'll do fine!!

  • dont dip your back shoulder so much bud

  • i've seem 10 year old much better hitter than this but he's good

  • He's dropping his hands when he goes to make contact, and his hands aren't going to the ball. therefore=no good!

  • I know right this title is not right I'm the most powerful ten year old hitter the farthest ball i hit was a 350 foot line drive unlike this kid probably cant hit 300 but he's a good hitter he's should keep practicing and he'll make it to the pros

  • @tallstan12 you may have hit one 350 ft when you were 10 but when I was 2 I hit one 550 ft against the Yankees.. get real.

  • This kid reminds me of Prince Fielder.lol

  • Put a helmet on him at all times when batting. Thanks

  • Lets see this kid swing with wood his swing looks kind of mediocre to title it MOST POWERFUL TEN YEAR OLD

  • frail ass kis

  • nice job. This kids rips the ball.

  • Pretty good for all inside and over the middle pitching. The boy is doing what he is supposed to do, but don't neglect hitting he ball the other way. Everything on the outside part of the plate he missed because he wasn't "seeing" it with a head flying out. Great power and great raw potential. Swing is long though, shorten up.

  • @crimson wolf your response shows your ignorance for baseball knowledge, he is not swinging up he is finishing high.

  • @MrBigboybrooks Beautiful swing, i cant deny that, most powerful in the country though...?

  • When I was 10 I was hitting way more harder ..

  • anyone looks good at short toss

  • Upward swings? not proper way to start...

  • lol he is a little chunky

  • This is a waste of my time... Why don't u see how fast the pitcher is throwing... Never thought about that huhhh u suck fatty

  • He's not just big, he has a very nice swing too. Keep working hard.

  • I read all the comments kid your doing great people will always be jealous always you have a great swing keep up the good work.

  • A young Prince Fielder...same swing..keep working kid your doing great.

  • Nice power but he sits back to much, Let his legs help with some of the swing.

  • nice kid.. but dislike for the lame and incorrect title....

  • Heck no i know a guy who ten and hits 50 times harder then this he plays for Mayhem

  • Sup Prince..I was like that at your age..kinda still am, but I don't play anymore.

  • Keep working hard.

  • Him pulling his elbow back like that is gunna be a bad habbit when he starts to see pitchers throwing a lot harder.

  • no doubt about it, pretty good sing for a 10 yr old

  • next prince fielder, i can see it already , especially in his swing follow through

  • Wow good luck to this kid in the future...he is a beast. Haters will hate.

  • throw him a curve ball and see what his swing looks like

  • @junezx3RUGBY He is 10, nobody is going to be throwing a curve ball. Go play rugby.

  • @mrbaseballer112 At 9u in travel ball in Florida they start snapping off breaking balls

  • @junezx3RUGBY well good thing for him is hes ten and the kids cant throw good curveballs yet

  • man this kids gotta nice swing , keep it up !
