if you have a scent other than what the mother is familiar with she either finds them as a treat and eats them. or just shuns them so dont touch newborns

i am warning all you people with hamsters that had babies!!!heres to avoid the mom eating them....if the mom mated /w/ ur other one ..keep the male in the cage and get a big cardboard box for the mom and da babies. seperate them before birth.whatever you do,do not touch the mom,babies,or anything else. to change the food bowl,go to dollar store and get a giant pair of tweezer things.give her lots of protein and food so she won't get hungry and eat them!!!!p.s i luv dis song!!!!
