Islam does not forbidden singing if the lyrics does not contain bad words or ideas againsr GOD or sexual references. Also, they should not sing at the 5 prayers timings as defined in Islam. Also, there shouldnt be alcohol being served in the place they are holding the concert or performing the music.

@Escatonic It depends on what group he is in,, some say it is normal to sing but the instrument is forbidden and some say It is normal to sing with instruments because there were no guitar, piano it cant be forbidden, It is new thin ,, sorry my bad english
