@gabsave - the reason most of us don't support the government's carbon tax is the following- 1. the government lied about it before the last election and henceforth have no mandate to introduce it. 2. the gov's own papers say that with a carbon tax our emissions will still rise by 8% and will not be reduced. 3. it is likely to ruin mor jobs than it creates and 4. if this government couldn't build school halls without wasting billions of $, then how can we trust them with mass economic reforms?
