  • Born and raised in Tashkent.(I go to LA for school though) I have a hard time describing it's origins to my friends. Only the old ladies and village folk dress like that. The ladies are actually quite fashionable, you are expected to dress nice in public, no ripped jeans there.

    proud to be uzbek :)

  • @Zidana123 Considering that 4 Muslim states have had 5 women as heads of state while the US has had none is an embarrassment

  • @AhmedM85 Because that's a fair comparision, am I right? Comparing four countries to one, and adding all the numbers of those four countries together?

That's like saying it's an embarrassment for one man to only make one guitar in a day while four men together made eight guitars in a day. You're not comparing the same thing.

Do you see how your comparision is fundementally flawed?

  • @Zidana123 Okay, lets compare 1 country to another. That still makes 1 Muslim country that has had more female heads of state than the United States.

  • @AhmedM85 You've got me on that account. Fair is fair and that's a fair comparison. I retract my earlier statement.

  • "A trade-route that THROVE"

  • Just throwing it out there - zamir might not be Russian Russian (as in Slavic). Notice how he is wearing a doppa - these are usually worn by Muslim Turkic peoples (I know because Xinjiang Uyghurs wear these). He might be a Tatar, or one of those Muslim ethnic peoples from the Caucasus. He would still be Russian citizen, but realize that Russia is a multi-ethnic state (why do you think it is called the Russian Federation?). I think this conjecture is also supported by his Turkic looking features.

  • is it true that these people wipe their asses with their bare hands? If so then Tony was in for a heck of a treat when the Uzbeck host kindly ripped a few pieces of flat bread for him with his bare hands. The generosity and intimacy must have been just smothering.

  • @cys12141 you are lost your way here,go find your friends and comment their videos>>>

  • @avazhuja who are you to say that I lost my way? You must be an uneducated sanctimonious ideologue. Eat my shit, idiot.

  • @cys12141

Where did you learn that from Borat? Sorry to break it to you we know what toilet paper is , in fact we were using it long before Europians started wearing pants and knickers. This region used to be one of the most developed in the world in 13-14 Centuries. Each country has there ups and downs. So again for the record we use toilet paper, a very soft one to wipe.

  • @cys12141 Considering that soap was originally invented out East, these people have been washing their hands thoroughly for generations before Europeans even knew what the word hygiene meant. Also, no, they don't just stick their hands into their ass and wipe it. What are you, retarded?

  • "tony lets...get out of here..." lol

  • men try to live like gods on earth because in reality...REALITY..God is a beautiful woman.

  • Lol its not brain he is having with his kebab. Its lamb fat.

  • ugly country

  • @gordon5232 Beautiful country. A very bad presentation though. Imagine if someone decided to make a show like that about United States and all he did is film a bunch of rusty trailers and inbred hillbillies in some Alabama dump, and then show a really bad ghetto in Chicago with overweight prostitutes and junkies, and one of those ghost towns in Rust Belt. Someone outside United States would think USA is an ugly country too after watching such show.

  • I hate my family, or they me, and my life here in the United States. Has anyone got any ideas on how to start a new life somewhere else, short of joining the French Foreign Legion?

  • @DontBeAfraidToCare .....Save up some money, pick a country, and go...simple

  • Visit Uzbekistan, it's the most wonderful country.

  • Respect to Uzbekistan

    RF

Some people complain here about the Men Centered Enviornment, but they find it ok that in the U.S. this is mainly a Caucasian Centered Enviornment. Hypocritical if you think about it

  • First of all, just want to say Respect to all countries, but that's just my viewpoint when I see some of your comments

  • sweet country

  • i can relate to Tony

I am very against religious practises

but i always found muslim prayer chants beautiful

  • me too :)

  • it looks like a wonderful place to visit

but that sexist shit really hurts me

  • is uzbekistan a good place to be gay? or not? please let me know. cause im gay but i want to go visit there... should i go or not?

  • they'll probably arrest you and stone you to death.

  • unless you intend on telling every person you meet that you're gay, I don't see what the problem would be..?

  • it's not exactly a good place to be gay (not like, say, amsterdam), but they definitely won't stone you. they will give you weird looks and some may make unflattering comments if they see you hmmm display your gayness too much (?)

  • I don't recommend you to visit, otherwise you will be in trouble!

  • naah unlike what it seems uzbeks are open minded ppl the gay community isn't as open and liberal as west cause their heavily influenced by their tradition nevertheless it is 100% safe to visit Ive been their with my wife last year and loved it ^^cheers from Norway

  • What is the quality of the roads in Uzbekistan/Tashkent?

  • no autobahns... the roads aren't very good there -- especially not in the old parts of the city

  • GO Tony GO!

  • "thats a strong possibility tony" lol

  • why do they drink vodka, there muslim thats haram ( a sin ) in Islam!

  • maybe some of them are not muslim?

  • habibi, just because it is a Muslim country doesnt mean they are good Muslims. And at the same time not all of them are Muslim!

  • Uzbekistan has a sizable Eastern Orthodox population.

  • In moderate muslim countries you can drink but you're not allowed to get drunk.

  • it's obvious - that's strong influence of russian presence during communism era. In every country of former Soviet Union or Warsaw Pact you can see this increasing trend during communism.

  • Orthodox faith does not encourage drinking vodka. And please dont talk about the "correct" Islam. Everyone believed as he considers appropriate. Stop to teach others! Start with yourself

  • zamir is hilarious

  • Hmm..I am surprised that Kurash would follow a Japanese style of grading, bowing, sitting (suwari-waza), gi (in addition to the Japanese insignia on it). Even the throws are very similar to the Judo/Aikido style.

  • Dude, I'm from Romania..That russian kok sacher did the same thing when Tony visited Romania..A russian talking about Romania is like a crocodile talking about the latest in Milano fashion scene..it's absurd..

  • Speaking Russian does not necesserily mean/ or suggest that Samir is Russian. Russian language is widely spoken especially in Tashkent and many many people speak across Uzbekistan 2-3 languages at least ( Uzbek, Tajik, Russian). Don't confuse people ethnicity with knowledge of local culture. 2 differnt things....

  • You'd best see the entire show boy and see that Samir is russian and he tells you that in the show..Stop being such a "know-it-all"..And I was simply reffering to the piece they did about MY COUNTRY..So iti is you who shouldn't confuse those two things "my friend"..

  • soooo what they did i don't follow... what did samir in uzbekistan and romania?

  • You telling me about my country, I don't know and I don't care where you are from, but you can see the guy doesn't give a shit about Uzbekistan.

  • I've been there, it's nothing how Samir shows it be. I say; if going to Uzbekistan, get an Uzbek guide. Same things goes for the Romania show, haven't been there but I can see how many Romanians were insulted by that show.

  • I TOTALLY agree with you, in fact this weekend I was discussing that episode (Romania) with real Romanians and they said it was unbelievable Tony and his advisers would not have known NOT to have a Russian showing off a completely different country!

  • Eww brains and liver yuck and at 110 degrees yuck again.

  • Don't care for the way Women are treated but the culture is a fascinating mixture.

  • @sexydecayed69 go humiliate yourself for the way you treated all your black afro-americans you nazi-american.

  • @yamejanakaratoprak ...why are you living in the Netherlands?

  • @buttlord123 Why are you a dumb swede who thinks that as a despicable, coldblooded swede, you are 'universal'???; why do you invade Iraq and kill 1.5 million people?

  • @yamejanakaratoprak ummm idiot Sweden didnt invade Iraq. The US government did..Why do Iraqi insurgents strap bombs to themselves and blow up fellow Iraqi women and children, and brutally murder anyone who talks to coalition troops? What has Sweden ever done to the world? besides take in hundreds of thousands of muslim immigrants so they can have a better life?.

  • @buttl You are a dumbass swede living in America which makes you responsible for the actions of the government; so why are you living in the USa?

Uhm,maybe b/c nazi-americans invaded their country under pretext of "universal Human rights"and started killing them, causing Civil War,Abu Ghraib, and maintaining the native Iraqis 'freedom' by an occupation, just to get their hands on the oil??? Sweden exports male feminism; every swedish man is a woman;comes with the scandinavak reptilian blood.
