@starknight97 According to the book "Oops!' by Martin Smith and Patrick Kiger, the main problem is that cars operate better when they're heavy and planes operate better when they are light. The two vehicles also require different centers of gravity. Those and a bunch of other factors make combining the two vehicles a terrible idea. This is all on page 222.
