Hi, I don't limit myself with particular brands. I use anything I can find in the locale here. Mainly DaVinci, Winsor Newton, Daler Rowney, Holbein, M.Graham and Lukas. Anyway despite the brands, I only buy single pigment tubes, of the highest permanent. Further, I usually use the most transparent paints. But I also use some opaque and even gouache. You just need to know how to use them to avoid muds.
