make miniature trees -part 5 - palms and more

Growing up and living in tropical regions my whole life, I have seen plenty of palm trees with a double curve. Any number of environmental factors can change around a tree forcing it to change the direction it grows in.

i appreciate the video.. while most are for "minature" sets.. i'm working on a stop animation set with 8" characters.. so i'm researching methods of Large Tree models.. not turning up much.. any suggestions?

I would either use the wire twist method and coat the branches or I'd try gathering bits of the sunflower plant roots and flock them.

I'll give it some more thought. I need to update these tree videos anyways.

Sometimes I stutter and I say "eh" friggin' near after every sentence.

Meth is the worst drug ever invented. Burns holes in your brain. A lot of people are instantly addicted and for most there is no escape after. Back in the late 70's they called it ice. Stick to beer, eh. Pot if you need to experiment, but stay the hey away from that other and don't condone it.
