  • Went today to get my cats nails filed & Dave did a great job! Dave gave us a full tour. The kennels were amazingly clean! Fun watching him interact with the dogs. They love to play in the outdoor pool he has for them. The dogs absolutely love him & he's good at what he does. Obviously dogs are def. his life. I've worked at a few animal shelters & visited many kennels & was surprised by the space the dogs have. And believe me I would freak if I saw anything wrong. I would recommend this place.

  • My dog came home severely dehydrated, having lost six pounds in five days and had gashes of missing fur under her chin and on her nose. She had scabs all over her head and a sore on her stomach. She is a 7 month old puppy who was left with much larger dogs during communal feedings - I imagine she was attacked every time that she tried to eat. She was kept in a small cage with other dogs and was never walked. I tried to stop payment on my check, but Dave cashed the check right after I left.

  • DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE.

  • My dog goes there he is the brown and black dachshund!!!

  • i love briarwood kennel my dog goes there

  • DON'T GO TO BRIARWOOD! THEY ABUSE DOGS!

My best friend Abby brought her dog there and they burnt his paw with a hot metal stick! WHILE SHE, HER MOTHER AND SISTER WATCHED!

Save your dog! Don't take your dog there!

  • Why of course they did! That's how you cauterize bleeding when the quick of the nail gets cut. I know Dave and he certainly did not want this unfortunate thing to happen. But this sort of thing could happen anywhere and Dave as always did the right thing. I would not take my dogs anywhere else!

  • Uh, no way should anyone be using hot metal to cauterize bleeding! That is definately abusive. Groomers and veterinarians use styptic powder when the quick is cut. It stops bleeding by contracting the blood vessels, without using inhumane methods like burning!

  • i know this placee haha id definetley take my dog theree

  • It looks awful to me - purely outdoor runs? I'd never take my dog there.

  • Briarwood Kennel is the perfect place to bring your cat or dog. All of our kennel runs and play areas are well shaded and secure. Or, if you prefer, your pet can enjoy the COZY INDOORS! Make your cat or dog's next boarding experience relaxing and fun.

  • @petphotosrus My puppy has lots of fun when he visits. It has really helped socialize him to be with other dogs.

  • My golden doodle has a lot of fun when he goes there. The dogs get plenty of exercise and interaction. As a first time dog owner, the owner Dave has helped me tremendously. He knows a lot about dogs and how to care for them. I've brought my dog Oliver there for some training lessons and I don't know what I would have done without it. Dave also gave Oliver his first bath and hair trim-cute! He's a no bs, straight-talking kind of guy which can throw you off at first, but Dave loves the dogs!

  • Wow this is really nice,a lot better then the crumby kennel I once took my dog to

The kennels were tiny and they never got walks either
