@eddyTrue Because this is a beta. The sequence of clips could change by the final copy. So making a list that would probably be changed didnt seem like a good idea. The final version will have a full movie/clip list.

@younglonewolf well yes and no. The movies used might not the "best". But It will be an HD experience that shoudl bring much eyegasm :) this is only 2 min of this 15 min beast. I held off on posting more because I didnt want people burned out on too many betas like with apple tree. Trust me tho when I say it will be worth the secrecy :) Thx for the comment by the way man. Really helps know what the fans like and want to see.

@Abalo34 Well, certain trailers are actually not allowed to be reEdited. Its strange. I am sure that includes pre-public ones. But honestly, dailies are cut together so fast and sent to trailer houses, that once they are done and uploaded to press kit ftps, its less than a day before they go public. They try and get those out quick as possible. I think the only trailer I got earlier than the public was the new Spiderman one. And even then, I only had it a day sooner. @Garro58 I will def include a tracklisting. As for the movie list, I cannot release that right away. I have something special planned with another big company for a potential contest when its released. Then after that, I will be more than happy to release a cliplist :)

I actually keep picturing in my head what a good film version of Half-Life 2 would look like, and if I were making it, then I'd show a montage of the week-long uprising that Alyx and Gordon missed while they were teleporting into Kleiner's lab, and set it to "Red Dress (The Glitch Mob Remix)", which is what "The Apple Tree" starts out with, and I would use a similar style. It's so epic in my head. XD

For the most part, the video has its first layer down on most segments. Not really satisfied till the 10th layer goes over. Reason for this is, a movie may come out toward the end of the project that will match a sound better than a previously selected clip. I like to keep everything nonlinear for last min changes like that. So what you see here, may not even be represented in the final version. Except maybe Nick Cage grabbin that choir girl's ass... that can stay. :)
