APR Stage3 with a 50 shot of nitrous along with a transmission thats got mk3 VR6 gearing from 1-4 and a 4.24 ring and pinion from a 2.0L 8v mk4.

You can but you need custom pistons. You can use the crank out of an AEG (mk4 2.0L 8v) and the rods are the same as a 1.8T so you use 144mm lenth rods, and you need custom pistons.

What? They're 3000lbs stock. My non-sunroof base model GTI (not the one in the video) was 2870lbs off the lot. It now weighs 1750lbs, but thats because theres only an aluminum dash, and 1 aluminum seat in it, 5 gallon cell, Bogart wheels, and the motor has noa ccessories other than an alternator.
