Rahal's an even bigger asshole than archrival AJ Foyt (who once dissed another NASCAR legend Cale Yarbrough.) At least Foyt knew CART was heading south & tanking in ratings & knew when the best time to get the hell out was. Rahal still had faith in CART & for good measure sent son Graham over there as it was nearing its Waterloo. Nice guy. CART stole the NASCAR logo anyhow. CART was for wealthy city slickers & NASCAR was for hardworking poor people from the country. Good riddance CART!!

As a native Ohioan I used to like Rahal. Then he had to spout off about NASCAR in 1999 by saying how overrated it is & how CART was kicking NASCAR's ass in races. 1998 was the yr of NASCAR's 40th anniversary so Rahal was absolutely WRONG about NASCAR's ratings. Then he dissed the legendary Dale Earnhardt Sr after his fatal crash at Daytona. You know what? I think Rahal's just jealous of DE b/c Dale smoked his ass almost every yr in the IROC series. #3 4EVER!!! RIP Intimidator! Take that CART!!

I cannot BELIEVE that a series like the .1rL, trying to beg for more viewership to come back after squandering it and handing it to NASCAR, keeps absolute DRAB MORONS like GOODYEAR and Eddie underaCheever in the box for the 500. Last Rahal race wasn´t Laguna Seca ´97, it was Fontana, California in 1998. All the people put their signature on the painting of Rahals car, and his wife gave a lot of lenses with a big nose and mustache to all teams during the classifications. When Bobby was entering the pitlane, everybody received him with applause and he saw that all people were using those lenses. That was to show him their affection and respect for his great career in CART.
