a easier way to do this (if u just want the drops) is to spam in /G or /2 after some1 who can help, either whit defending your "body" while runing around dragon or u defend the helpers body while hes clearing the room :D if u cant find some1 to help, try to bribe them :D
There's a lot of randomness to using this "glitch", seems like many things can go wrong. My only advice is never let the controller orc die. After my first disengage/reset I cleared about half the eggs before razorgore picked off the controller orc. Thought I was in the clear when I was down to just 5 eggs left and all the adds started spawning and would never reset/the controller orc would never respawn.
It seems they may have attempted to fix this, I tried this week and found he'd teleport me down to him, however if your persistant you can still pull it off by constantly performing the trick, sometimes he takes a while to port you down and in that time the channeler will yell his thing and the adds will despawn anyhow.

"You will learn to hate the fire breath" is a massive understatement. I'm trying to do it now, and he conflagrates often, and always at such a time where once it has expired you won't have enough time to try and get to the ledge before he's killed by the adds. =(
Ok as of 7/11/2011. Getting aggro on the controller helps with distract, then a few explosive/chimera shots on razgore, also getting on the platform early before the load of mobs come. Went to platform x3 times. Then when Raz about to die took down controller, finished eggs.
I got tp-ed the first time, I think I went too far back, the other times I stayed near the ledge. The orc got killed an other time, and Razorgore went "haha I pwn you, noob", and I got killed. I had a nice moment of lag when trying to disengage, Razorgore got killed, so did I, and so on...
Trying mutliple times is the key, dont forget he loot 120+ golds for your repair bill ^^

Yup still working (October 2nd, 2011). If you do this right adds will only spawn twice and then not spawn anymore during the encounter. But you have to do it "clean". If you jump down too early or mess around too long the adds might spawn a third time.
Soloed it today as well. Tried Shop's tactic, unfortunately i got stomped/conflagged so many times at one point, that razor destroyed the controller-mob... leaving me and him... aaaand a whole lot of adds.
Now.. I didn't want to corpse run, so I went forth up to the "spot"; waited for him to get full hp; down down and fired two Multishots at adds. Then on to control him and remove 2-3 eggs, before getting back up to the "spot" to get full hp.

has this been fixed? done it twice so far. 3rd week doing it and adds keep respawning. the controller must be killed otherwise he kills razorgore. he hits for 4k + . my other 2 runs adds only spawned twice so after the 2nd spawn i killed the controller. this time the adds never stop spawning. on 1 attempt of disengaging boss ran back to his spawn and died wiping the raid. on another the adds took him down in less than 5 seconds. which is odd cos he normally lasts a while.
@Butters159 seems the same with me... done this several times before and all it took was 2 "i have regained control"-resets. now the adds will come back even after that
Just a note: DON'T KILL THE CONTROLLER. If you do, the adds won't reset and you will be teleported down. I almost had it as I got it to reset once, I killed controller, and then they came back and I died because you get teleported down and adds won't reset.

I just tried this about 4 times, all 4 I got ported down. 2 of them I didn't have me as his attack target, 1 time I did through sheer damage threat and the last time I made sure of it with a distracting shot.
It's still working, did it before 10 Minutes ... but i'd need 6 Rounds (Rounds, not Trys) to stop the Add-Spawn and he didn't shout the Command to the Adds ... i just waited that they are leaving and started my attack and after the 6th turn it was done.
Tried to wait for the Command, but nothing happened after more than 5 Min.

@TheAwsomepivot they will because this doesnt have anything to do with the eggs... it has all to do with the adds respawning. this trick buggs the adds, when they arent coming out anymore is when you can feel free to kill all the eggs.
@TristanZomer You need to jump over the railing on the edge and run back to the wall so you're further away. I just used this method today and everything worked perfectly.
If you don't have something like a taunt or distraction shot, this will not work since this requires you to have aggro from boss before you jump to the ledge. It's impossible to take aggro with damage alone, for some odd reason, so (sadly) only paladins, warriors, dks, shamans and hunters will be able to do this.
@Fonjin That being said, taking away rocketboots from engineering; only goblin shamans/warriors/dks and any race that can be hunters, will be able to do this.
I have done it exactly like this and it no longer works, the adds respawn eventually. usually by the time there are 40% of the eggs left. hotfix maybe... You need someone to take care of the adds ideally.

@TheRiderOfSteel I had the same problem. Everything was working exactly like it should. Only the controller was up. About 2/3 of the eggs down, and adds come back again.

@5011bb Do exactly as he does on the video, and reset between each time you wipe. Because the controller will not aggro the same way he does the first time (and in this video)

Excellently done, this video helped me so much. As a hunter not wanting to bother guildies but wanting to tame Chromaggus this video was the only thing that let me get it :D

Now, they keep comming back and tbh, i cant get razor to aggro me, its either razor or orbcontroller i lose aggro on..
So after a flawless first try....its now gone over to the annoying side..

Nothing seems to keep this bitch alive.
I do the disengage part just fine, he's targetting me & all, but the adds just kill him and he wipes it up, been on it for the past 2 hours.
I'm starting to think its just screwy for me as everything is.
