There are three types of touch screen (that I'm away of), mosture (new blackberry), heat, and pressure (DS and pompilates use this so they can have stylisis (spelled it wrong I think), he is cleary using the latter. When will the hardware and software be availble for sale ube1000? Or is it still being developed? Will it have full PSP support or will it only work with software, firmware and homebrew designed for it?

its quite simple

infra red is light source invisable to the human eye

the set up is like this there are IR (infra red) leds lined across the edge of the screen

when you put your finger onto the screens

the IR light is reflected of you finger and back onto the edge of the screen

there the IR cameras that are also on the edge pick up the reflection and a circuit determins how how far your finger is away

judgeing on how strong the reflection is

the one i explained is rarely used

I read about a group of people working on a project like this a while ago and I think this is the same people. I dont think this is a fake. The way it was made, the touch screen is supposed to be mounted on top of the main screen of the PSP and connected through the USB port. It doesnt sound so farfetched when you think about it. I cant wait for it to come out.

There is already a DS-Emulator for the PSP, but it's a real bad emulator, it's super slow, only a few games work, en ofcource, there is no touchscreen to use. I tried to run Yoshi's Island DS on my PSP but only loading took already 5 minutes.
