hey I just created my blog , and I'm focusing on it ore than adsense , I don't really care that much about adsense , I just want to know how do I bring traffic to it?
I'd like to learn what you can do to continue to dish out content, when you start getting stuck for ideas.
Example: You have a site/blog with content and you hit "writers block". What can we do next to spark ideas, and come up with more quality content to write about on your site or blog.
Traffic and google adsense are my two struggles...if you have the traffic making money should be somewhat easy. My adsense isn't doing well i guess the traffic isn't there....we're fixing to put some blogs on our site as well...hopefully that will help.I know you don't want to concentrate on traffic but that is so many of the website owners #1 obstacle...i haven't had the chance to watch all your videos so maybe the anwser is in them. Have you considered making helpful/tutorial DVDs? I love watching your videos! And, you could shoot them, make them professional, manufacture them, and sell them to your visitors, or future customers.

in all your videos i think what makes people keep watching is your confidence and straight forwardness. Not to mention you are attractive and don't seem shy. You carry yourself as a successful person and would most likely be successful no matter what career you had. Maybe you should teach something along those lines. Keep up the hard work.

Adsense is a big pain to try and set up I tried to get the google search bar but i cant get the HTMl code its so time consuming and i still havent figured out how to get it going.
Lisa has really helped me alot with my site. I went from 3 hits a day to about 30 in less then a week. The Green market is pretty good but it takes a while to get noticed but you are already noticed so it should work out good for you.

It really doesn't matter what you do a video series on. You already have a following. People will buy your video if it was on how to make peanut butter cookies. I know that's not what you wanted to hear.
Do an exercise video. You've basically given up all the goodies on Internet marketing. That's your niche you are underselling the competition thats why people are attracted to you. Also you are more believable because you are not hyping things up.
just let people know why we need website and how to kick start it. Because most of them don't know how to make money online so if you kick start it then they can also make money and you too...;)

I think you have been creating your product all along. Perhaps you could do a step by step how and why documentary on building an online business. You could even edit some of your youtube blogs to use in key chapters of your production. Make it like a movie. Show off your Hollywood charisma in a real way, of course. I'm thinking along the lines of a Michael Moore film but without all the fat. LOL. What I mean is you should make it both entertaining and richly informative. That would be unique!

So, you should simply take what you have, simplify it, make it even better, include interviews, other expert opinions, add workbooks and journals with your videos to help track progress and brainstorm...and put it in a nice package. The sky is the limit. I know this will work. There are lots of sites that have just basic info then they have the section for paid members that is better info, then there are products, which is the best info nicely packaged.
It seems to me that you have a following that wants what you already have, and though you have much of your ideas on your sites, you could still take that info, beef it up and exceed all expectations. personally, I could go to a site that has all kinds of info, Google for example. I could key anything into that and find an answer, but its just to daunting and difficult to sift through the results and find the gold. read more below

If I was you, I would take everything that you have already done, everything that you have put on video, all that you have written about, and all that you excel in, and gather it together into the most concise, easy and professional product you can come up with. read more below
I think you are absolutely right to make a product that is video based/instructional. People want useful, helpful, relevant information in the convenience of their home and at their own pace. Also video is a good way to get your expertise out there and it is difficult for the knock-off artists to copy your ideas. I have viewed a few of your older videos where you always advise against starting a forum outright. You always suggest building up the traffic first, then funneling that traffic to the forum. So, could you give details on successfully launching a forum? Should you wait 3-6 months, for a certain traffic level, etc., what should be the signal for when it's time to launch your forum. Additionally, what can be done in the interim to promote customer feedback and building a community interaction?

@s4100able Great point.I am in the process of making a video. After I shot it, I had to delete most of it. I was surprised how hard it is to be relaxed on camera. I was equally surprised to find I am getting a bald spot. The camera doesn't lie :-).

Again, Wordpress blog builder (there's the name of your first video, Lisa), monetize and optimize the best FREE WP templates, go over EVERYTHING on the dashboard and how to place adsense, affiliate ads, word clouds, update content etc...this is the first step and, yes, there is a pent-up demand for this type of thing. I've searched the net for a step-by-step guide and it ain't out there. The WP codex is a complicated beast and it ends up being very frustrating when one tries to find answers.

Users need it easy... a 1,2,3 solutions the will work and not get de-listed by Google, etc. The Internet changes so your product will need to change to keep working.
It's not Lisa's job to earn money for us -- that's our job. The first step is building the thing (blog/website) and leaning how to optimize it so that the builder of the site can use Lisa's expert guidance in setting it up -- then he responsibility of maintenance and updating the site rests with you.

I think you should walk people step by step (almost as if people are stupid) through making just a very small amount of money online. Say $1. I know that others are already doing this, but I feel very comfortable listening to you. That's what I would like to see. I think you need to take your websites to the next level (not just more videos and websites), but create a site that has a 3D virtual reality feel and video yourself against a green screen for a full video overlay interactive environment. Imagine yourself giving a tour of SEO in a virtual reality "street". The 1st and 2nd house can be free stuff, but charge for the most advanced tours. ever tried doing one based from your flat stomach website. What should I create my website on? A way for people to capture what that is would be very useful - I know you've briefly talked about it already, but some kind of interactive video/exercise would really help with this.
A tutorial on setting up WordPress and all the essential plugins would be great (archives, bread crumbs, comment luv, threaded comments - every last one of them).
Finally, a way to measure success for people so they can feel like they are accomplishing something.

Also by taking money for your "videos" or "book" you are actually implying if people follow your steps they will make money eventually. While this is completely misleading. What they will have if they follow your rules is a "website". We both know that succeeding online is not done by following some guideline but just working hard as hell and not giving up no matter what. All the information is available online for free. You are not re-inventing the wheel...
Completely agree about the hard work. No guarantees. But you're assuming the courses will only be about money making. I never said that. Many of my suggestions are how-to's about wordpress, blog design and have nothing to do with money making. Even tho this stuff can be found online people still want help and they are asking me. So that tells me there is a need to improve upon what is already out here.
@lisa3876 I agree, but I think when you work as an affiliate you get a commission for a service someone HAS to pay for. For example hosting or anything tangible. While paying for information found free online in my opinion is crossing a fine line. You'll quickly find yourself promoting almost only your own product and look like the other millions of dushbags on the internet. - And by the way people follow your rules to make money not to have a nice website... at least from comments i read.

Yes there are free WordPress vids out there but I happen to like how Lisa teaches. Just because YOU wouldn't value it doesn't mean others won't. Value is subjective.
@powwebvideos Yes I think they are doshbags praying on people with the dream of making a quick buck. The people you've mentioned and the likes of those are only 1% of super affiliates, most super affiliates will never expose themselves or what they do.
I agree with this point here - the concept of improving upon what already exists is a true principal. If what you have makes more sense than what is out there and it's easier to use and offers more value, then it stands a good chance of succeeding. I for one welcome any paid product Lisa decides to produce and would be first in line to get it. (and Lisa did not in any way coax me to say this, though the quality of her information and character is what led to it).

(That can be found on the web according to you) People trust her and want her help. They AREN'T finding it on the web. They want help from LISA. What's wrong with her selling a course addressing these questions? Many super affiliates have their own products in addition to their income. Go for it Lisa, I'd pay for it.

Who's to say I'm not doing both? In fact I just did a video in Nov about how I boosted my revenue by $1800. Call me what you want. I don't get attached to labels or what everyone else is doing. I want to create another stream of income that I control so I'm not 100% reliant on selling other's products. It's all about diversification and stability. I know plenty of super affiliates with their own products for that very reason.

You can't ask people who are starting out want they want to know. They don't know themselves. Also I don't believe anyone would pay for your videos or buy your guide more than they buy the other millions of guides online - you'll just loose your uniqueness. As a super affiliate myself I recommend you focus on your affiliate programs. Have you personally met the companies your affiliated with? Once your big enough you set your own commissions at meetings 1-on-1. You can make more with what u have

WOW, you said people shouldn't have Google ADS flashing everywhere because its all about money but all I see on this video is BIG FAT GOOGLE ads! You also mentioned people with low traffic shouldn't have Google adsense accounts. I bet you weren't saying that when you first started lol. I would agree with dyaonna, An SBI tutorial in your own words would make a great product. You already have a large following that would love to see how you would use their steps.
You could do a video for each "day" ... That's ten. Plus a couple Intro and follow up vids. Show the creation of a new site start to monetization. you will also have the bennifit of visitors to your new site featured in the videos.
you like SBI , so create a product around that and do videos on everything from uploading a site, to picking a micro niche and interview others about it and record it .
get a warehouse, go to china, and buy some crap to fill it with, sell the stuff for four times its worth, get more and more money, and power, take over the world

Hello, you are an inspiration to many. Many website builders I'm sure follow your instructions and your guidance. With this in mind I think it would have been a excellent idea to express more of the little tips and tricks you know in CSS and HTML. Be it designing a webpage or adding the little gadgets whatever it is. You are indeed a creative person. You have thought me a great deal you really have. i think you should do this video course but also have some written stuff. Go deeper in how to write content, how to make a clean design for a website like how to make flash ads and all that stuff.

You could do a collection of videos like you said. This collection would include three series: Web design, Content &Traffic, and Monetization. These could be sold in a package or sold separately depending on what they need help with. I think that would be a very helpful collection of videos and could cover a wide range of topics: wordpress, SBI, content, design, etc.
I think you should do a series on building a website. Not the template stuff on blogger but a more in dept series on building a website. Like I would like to learn how to enhance the appearance of my blog. For instance, I want to bling out the title iEntertainment101. Right now I'm just using regular fonts and styling but I would like to learn how to jazz it up a little more.

I think you have been creating your product all along. Perhaps you could do a step by step how and why documentary on building an online business. You could even edit some of your youtube blogs to use in key chapters of your production. Make it like a movie. Show off your Hollywood charisma in a real way, of course. I'm thinking along the lines of a Michael Moore film but without all the fat. LOL. What I mean is you should make it both entertaining and richly informative. That would be unique!

So, you should simply take what you have, simplify it, make it even better, include interviews, other expert opinions, add workbooks and journals with your videos to help track progress and brainstorm...and put it in a nice package. The sky is the limit. I know this will work. There are lots of sites that have just basic info then they have the section for paid members that is better info, then there are products, which is the best info nicely packaged.

It seems to me that you have a following that wants what you already have, and though you have much of your ideas on your sites, you could still take that info, beef it up and exceed all expectations. personally, I could go to a site that has all kinds of info, Google for example. I could key anything into that and find an answer, but its just to daunting and difficult to sift through the results and find the gold. read more below

I think you are absolutely right to make a product that is video based/instructional. People want useful, helpful, relevant information in the convenience of their home and at their own pace. Also video is a good way to get your expertise out there and it is difficult for the knock-off artists to copy your ideas. I have viewed a few of your older videos where you always advise against starting a forum outright. You always suggest building up the traffic first, then funneling that traffic to the forum. So, could you give details on successfully launching a forum? Should you wait 3-6 months, for a certain traffic level, etc., what should be the signal for when it's time to launch your forum. Additionally, what can be done in the interim to promote customer feedback and building a community interaction?

Again, Wordpress blog builder (there's the name of your first video, Lisa), monetize and optimize the best FREE WP templates, go over EVERYTHING on the dashboard and how to place adsense, affiliate ads, word clouds, update content etc...this is the first step and, yes, there is a pent-up demand for this type of thing. I've searched the net for a step-by-step guide and it ain't out there. The WP codex is a complicated beast and it ends up being very frustrating when one tries to find answers.

It's not Lisa's job to earn money for us -- that's our job. The first step is building the thing (blog/website) and leaning how to optimize it so that the builder of the site can use Lisa's expert guidance in setting it up -- then he responsibility of maintenance and updating the site rests with you.
I'm getting hung up on how to add plugins and place adsense etc. on WP templates -- and the WP codex is confusing as Hell to me (and I'm a smart cookie). Lisa, a step-by-step video, please!

I know that others are already doing this, but I feel very comfortable listening to you. That's what I would like to see. Or because so many people are out of work trying to find a way to really teach people to make money online. I know you already do this, but maybe do it step by step. I think you need to take your websites to the next level (not just more videos and websites), but create a site that has a 3D virtual reality feel and video yourself against a green screen for a full video overlay interactive environment. Imagine yourself giving a tour of SEO in a virtual reality "street". The 1st and 2nd house can be free stuff, but charge for the most advanced tours. You can be ahead of the web curve for this and do something no one else is.

ever tried doing one based from your flat stomach website. I'm thinking about designing a new journal like training site for real people with real problems loosing weight. you could take 1/2 your info from your flat stomach site and combine it with some more of your personal "time-saving" tips for "Real people" who "don't have much time to be in gym a gazillon hours" and optimize it for 10-12 volume video series and then market it for the low w/ some free incentive. What u should do is a multi-part video series.
(i.e., 12 steps to making, running and promoting a wordpress site)
This way u can cover a bunch of subjects if u can't pick just one.
Each step should focus on a different subject pertaining to making a blog.
I would not focus on making money, but if you do make that the last in the series.
Release a new part every week or every month until the whole series is finished.
Then, U can sell the series as one set or sell the individual part separately.

One challenge for me is when researching issues, is finding myself getting distracted from the target.

What should I create my website on? A way for people to capture what that is would be very useful - I know you've briefly talked about it already, but some kind of interactive video/exercise would really help with this.
A tutorial on setting up WordPress and all the essential plugins would be great (archives, bread crumbs, comment luv, threaded comments - every last one of them).
Finally, a way to measure success for people so they can feel like they are accomplishing something.

Also by taking money for your "videos" or "book" you are actually implying if people follow your steps they will make money eventually. While this is completely misleading. What they will have if they follow your rules is a "website". We both know that succeeding online is not done by following some guideline but just working hard as hell and not giving up no matter what. All the information is available online for free. You are not re-inventing the wheel...

Completely agree about the hard work. No guarantees. But you're assuming the courses will only be about money making. I never said that. Many of my suggestions are how-to's about wordpress, blog design and have nothing to do with money making. Even tho this stuff can be found online people still want help and they are asking me. So that tells me there is a need to improve upon what is already out here.

@lisa3876 I agree, but I think when you work as an affiliate you get a commission for a service someone HAS to pay for. For example hosting or anything tangible. While paying for information found free online in my opinion is crossing a fine line. You'll quickly find yourself promoting almost only your own product and look like the other millions of dushbags on the internet. - And by the way people follow your rules to make money not to have a nice website... at least from comments i read.

I agree with this point here - the concept of improving upon what already exists is a true principal. If what you have makes more sense than what is out there and it's easier to use and offers more value, then it stands a good chance of succeeding. I for one welcome any paid product Lisa decides to produce and would be first in line to get it. (and Lisa did not in any way coax me to say this, though the quality of her information and character is what led to it).

Who's to say I'm not doing both? In fact I just did a video in Nov about how I boosted my revenue by $1800. Call me what you want. I don't get attached to labels or what everyone else is doing. I want to create another stream of income that I control so I'm not 100% reliant on selling other's products. It's all about diversification and stability. I know plenty of super affiliates with their own products for that very reason.

You can't ask people who are starting out want they want to know. They don't know themselves. Also I don't believe anyone would pay for your videos or buy your guide more than they buy the other millions of guides online - you'll just loose your uniqueness. As a super affiliate myself I recommend you focus on your affiliate programs. Have you personally met the companies your affiliated with? Once your big enough you set your own commissions at meetings 1-on-1. You can make more with what u have

If your subscribers Watched you create your product from scratch, I believe that would inspire a lot of folks to try to do it for themselves.

how about a series on video making, programs to use(free and paid software, how to edit and put in graphics and words (eg. bubble with words), how to download into youtube and in-bed into websites, how to use them as advertising/marketing tools like for affiliate marketing. Whomever s idea you use will they be getting a small percentage or is it only affiliate marketing. Thanks for looking :)

WOW, you said people shouldn't have Google ADS flashing everywhere because its all about money but all I see on this video is BIG FAT GOOGLE ads! You also mentioned people with low traffic shouldn't have Google adsense accounts. I bet you weren't saying that when you first started lol. Now that you have traffic other people coming up shouldn't have Google adsense accounts. You remind me of some of these people who doesn't think their mess STINKS lol!

I would agree with dyaonna, An SBI tutorial in your own words would make a great product. You already have a large following that would love to see how you would use their steps.
You could do a video for each "day" ... That's ten. Plus a couple Intro and follow up vids. Show the creation of a new site start to monetization. you will also have the bennifit of visitors to your new site featured in the videos.

you like SBI , so create a product around that and do videos on everything from uploading a site, to picking a micro niche and interview others about it and record it .

1) buying advertising (adsense, facebook, real world, etc.)
2) selling a product (either information or an actual product) and the steps it takes for that
3) once you get a slowly profitable website how to expand
4) hiring writers for your website for fresh content from a different perspective
5) How to get the consumer involved with your product thoroughly and how to get consumers to interact with each other
also a profitable decision would be to put a teaser of your vids on youtube

A step-by-step video tutorial on how to set up a WP blog from A to Z -- lead us by the hand thru the WP dashboard, how to place adsense and affiliate ads on the blog, how to update and where to place content - include a basic tutorial on html and CSS - show us how to flesh-out a basic blog template so by the end of the video tutorial(s) we will have built our own blog with your help.

Hello, you are an inspiration to many. Many website builders I'm sure follow your instructions and your guidance. With this in mind I think it would have been a excellent idea to express more of the little tips and tricks you know in CSS and HTML. Be it designing a webpage or adding the little gadgets whatever it is. You are indeed a creative person. You have thought me a great deal you really have. You could do a collection of videos like you said. This collection would include three series: Web design, Content &Traffic, and Monetization. These could be sold in a package or sold separately depending on what they need help with. I think that would be a very helpful collection of videos and could cover a wide range of topics: wordpress, SBI, content, design, etc.

I think you should do a series on building a website. Not the template stuff on blogger but a more in dept series on building a website. Like I would like to learn how to enhance the appearance of my blog. For instance, I want to bling out the title iEntertainment101. Right now I'm just using regular fonts and styling but I would like to learn how to jazz it up a little more.
