But the premise of it is that it's someone who is skeptical and a non believer entering thr town of Dunwich and being pursued by this strange cult. It's the same idea here, you here a rumor or a blurb somewhere, and end up getting curious and making for the building. One of the enjoyable things about Fallout is that in a post-apocalyptic world anything is possible. If something freaky is there, you wanna see.

Based on the H.P. Lovecraft novel "The Dunwich Horror." A sorceror uses an ancient grimore to open a portal to the netherworld and allows some creature called Yog-Sothoth into the Earth realm. It would seem the people in the Dunwich building were meddling with the same dark tome and created the Ghouls.

The Dunwich building is a reference to H.P. Lovecraft's short story, The Dunwich Horror. In this story the main character's father finds this book called the Necronomicon that drives him insane. I've never read the story so I don't know exactly how all of this relates, but you do heard about a book in the holotapes. As for that obelisk in the caverns, you'll have to read the story to find out because I don't have a clue. The Dunwich Horror is part of a fictional universe called Cthulhu Mythos.

People say ghosts are in fallout3, there isn't, dunwhich building is you hillucinating due to the tapes that you find, it "Spooks" you out, so you see crap, and vault 108 I think it is, there are tapes saying that the flash backs and purple screens what not, is a gas they released into the vault for testing, and it drove everyone mad. FO3 is a great game though, scary as hell at times, but brilliant.

but what i thought if there was coop you wouldn't be able to use V.A.T.S. mode perfect example... Resistance 1 & 2 both have a sniper which slows down time to help you get a better accuracy and when you play online or coop it doesnt work

i have hear about the dunwich from a friend of mine, he says that there is a room where there's a head in a table that looks at you whereever direction you go, but where can i find that building i heard is in the south but i don't know where it is

Though the pictures on the interent looked weird, i found no head. I searched everywhere. You will find dunwich building very close to tenpenney tower in that corner of the map. Go and enjoy. The head if anything seemed to be a glitch that occured for some players.

right before you go into the part with the flashback thingy, the door that takes you into the area. there are two tables it there. the head was shaking uncontrollably for me, so I shot it with my combat shotgun.
