This songz mean az way better than the gay shit that comes out now. Im 7th form at college and im the only one at my skewl that still listens to stuff from the 60's upto the early 2000's haha mean song
I was into these guys in the 80s as well and this album is my favorite.
I also saw them live - think it was '84 or '85 and I remember enjoying myself immensely. But then, I was such a freak about them that maybe I just wasn't paying attention, but I honestly don't remember them sucking at all.
Wow do I love the Psychedelic Furs CDs but man do I ever hate them live. Their live performances are terrible. Richard Butler sounds so tone deaf on stage. In studeo this group ROCKS!!! I've been a super huge fan since the early 1980s so don't get me wrong, just that their live performances suck!
I saw them live many times back in their hay day and I concur. They suck live! They have that wall of sound production quality that cannot be reproduced live and quite frankly they're a studio band. Their first two albums though are great. Then they got Todd Rundgren to produced Mirror Moves and they went pop and that was the end of them. Don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of Todd Rundgren both with his pop synth and rock permutation Utopia.
This is genius..... !

Luckily saw them at The Moonlight Club, West Hampstead, London, UK in 78. Absolutely brilliant and great musicians.

To me, this is one the iconic songs of the 80's and my era, and definitely my fave Furs song...just something about it.
