i know that this might not be the right place to ask you this question, but I'm thinking of buying a SEIKO watch just a casual wear ANALOG watch (no extra times, no cluttered screen, etc..) just a big hand, small hand, and date.
this watch is almost completely Swiss made the resone I know this is cues my uncle is the maker of this watch very good culity and has a very very long life it is one of the best watches I know of becedes epos my uncle is big in to epos but he invited the Eklund watch and made the name and manufaterd it himself very good watches he is one of the best uncles eny one could have and now he is dying of ccl it is a cancer so the bisnes is shutting down if you find a eklund buy it and keep on to it i
@uberspek Yep. I don't like asian made watches, so why would I want an asian dial on my otherwise Swiss watch? I don't expect you to understand, but to me, that would ruin the integrity of the watch. And actually, I don't have much money at all, being 17. Yet I manage to purchase a nice watch once in a while with the money that I do make.

@kelek98 Apparently, GNT watches is not longer in business because of the death of Roger Bartley. So, I'm not sure where you can get this anymore.
Pianoman1488 11 months ago
@Pianoman1488 Yes.. GNT watches is no more so Eklunds are not going to be available anymore except on the secondary market.

It would really be a shame if the dial was Asian made. I really like the watch, but that would just bug me to know that.
thisismeplusyou 1 year ago
Dial probably did come from Asia. It can still be Swiss though according to Swiss law. Where do you think Breitling Callista dials are made.

Very conservative watch. Interesting.

Eklund is a pretty nice watch maker. I have one, except not this model. But still, nice review.
