And U2 is a Christian band right? Last I heard they are secular. Steve Fee and his band are awesome I saw them live, and I will tell you they didn't rip off U2 at all. I have been to U2 concerts, and Steve Fee and company are nothing like them. There was no drugs, alcohol, etc. like at U2 concerts, just people getting saved. But thanks for the opinion nonetheless. And people let us not criticize one another, if you are called to lead worship, then do so, but please don't knock others.

i said the guitar parts are a rip off u2 sound. I never mentioned anything about alcohols or u2 being a christian band.. so... i don't know why you're stating all that. It's pretty obvious that most of ccm music has been largely influenced by u2. Sadly almost all of ccm has become the "u2 sound"

U2 is definitely an influence, but I wouldn't say that just because you slap some delay, you're the edge! The idea is to fill the arrangement out...and that is what the edge did because he was only one guitarist...ccm is mostly acoustic driven with electric guitars adding the color...with U2 like delay.

He's not "lip-syncing". If there's any delay in the sound and his mouth moving it's because of what youtube does to videos sometimes when you encode them for the site.

Actually...the audio is right from the CD. They took some live footage of the song to make the music video. So...what you hear is not what you see in the video. They still sound awesome live though...and Steve never lip syncs, because he's a worship leader, and worship leaders lead songs, not perform for people.
