Stossel had an opinion, and he was at an event. ALL commentators and journalists have opinions. Maddow, being a commentator herself, should realize that her role, as well as that of Olbermann/O'Reilly/Beck/Stosse­l, is NOT to "tell the news". They give their opinions and analysis, as commentators. A commentator is allowed to rally for a cause they believe in, and having an opinion doesn't mean you can't report news just fine.

The editorial slant at the end was exactly what you are accusing stossel of doing. If you had stayed with just saying Stossel was an activist and then a reporter on the same topic, you would have been fine. But the little opinion at the end IS NOT NEWS either.
