i'm sickened by the acceptance of being a lesbian these days. dude! girls are supposed to like guys! that's why willow was better with oz! screw joss whedon for making him a werewolf, then we would never have had to deal with crap like tara. although then we wouldn't have this completely satisfying death scene. honestly i was more worried about buffy.
@jolsteadfamily You are a horrible individual. Joss Whedon himself said that if fans of this show had a problem with homosexuals, then they should just stop watching it because he and the rest of the cast didn't want fans like that. So why don't you just go away and keep your opinions to yourself.
@OnlyHeStandsThere100 Just because I said I had respect for Whedon doesn't mean his opinions reflect my own. Just because you're a sicko that doesn't care if someone's a homo, then that makes you terrible, sorry, not me. Don't bother responding, you won't convince me of anything or make me feel guilty, so don't try.
@jolsteadfamily Fine, let's not let this escalate into an argument in which we both yell at each other. I think you're a ignorant jackass and you think I'm a sicko. Enough said.
@OnlyHeStandsThere100 I'm not ignorant, just opinionated. I may seem like a "horrible individual, and you're gonna have to take my word that I'm not. I just have very strong opinions about homosexuality. I'm sorry if you feel otherwise, but that's no excuse for calling me stuff like that. Anyway, I don't really think you're a sicko, I just got a little angry about your first reply. I just believe that your opinion is different from mine and I disagree with it. So don't hold anything against me.
@jolsteadfamily I can appreciate a person having a strong opinion about something, as I myself have my own opinion about homosexuality. It just angered me seeing this clip of a loving and happy couple being ripped apart and then seeing your comment condemning them for that love. This relationship was a huge step forward for homosexuals and even though you don't agree with it, you should respect that these characters meant a lot to people and lay off the hateful comments.
I'm sorry, did you even watch the show or are you just slow? She never 'perved' on Dawn, she was like a sister to her.
Also, Kennedy was 19 in the show, the oldest of the potential slayers.
Please do some research before you make comments, otherwise you look like a moron. Which you are, but I'm assuming you'd like to keep that little problem quiet...
@OnlyHeStandsThere100 In the one with the jacket that makes the wearer irresistable to women she is dancing like a slag and Xander and Willow are checking her out. The actor who played Kennedy was 19 but the character was 15. I think what Josh was trying to put across was the connection between homosexuality and pedophillia.
Firstly, you're a moron. Secondly, it was confirmed that Kennedy is 19 in the show. Go find out for yourself, it's all there. Secondly, using a magical jacket that makes people act OOC is not proof, Xander did it too and he's just as old, it was the jacket.
And why are you accusing the homosexual of being a pedophile? Did you conveniently forget that the 241 year old Angel has sex with a 17 year old Buffy?
@AngloSaxonMMA Racist? What are you even talking about? You're such a loser. What kind of dork goes on Youtube just to make stupid comments that don't even make any sense. It's clear from your other comments to OnlyHeStandsThere100 that you don't even know what you're talking about when it comes to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So go screw yourself, fool. Oh and don't pretend I'm the homosexual just to hide that you're one. I like girls, sorry you don't.
Alyson Hannigan is brilliant. I started this video thinking "she will always be Lily to me" and forgot that statement by the end. She does serious scenes so well. This, and Marshall's dad's death are incredible.
I love Tara so much but her death was very well done and Willow's revenge twist was quite great. And also, boo to the Angel spoilers I hear all the time. I'm not going to be surprised by anything when I get around to watching it. :(
@BuffysBiggestFan Difference being Fred slowly fading throughout the episode, while Tara's was more "bang, done". Complete opposites done perfectly well.
Why didnt you show the next part. I would love to see when she calls on that diety and screams it away with the actual words rather than some horrible music track like everyone keeps doing.
One of the best scenes in the series. It really caught me of guard. Hell, Warren having a gun caught me off guard. The blood splattering on Willow's shirt was an excellent touch to the scene. It makes the scene much more powerfull.
@DONTCKLICKMYNAME -Nods- I also like how they show how Tara died almost instantly and Buffy did not by the bleeding. Subtle, but a good detail to add in.
It was to show that Tara's death would be the case of Willow embracing the dark side. I felt rather bad that it had to be her, since he relationship with Willow was heating up, but I guess it had to be someone.
Tara's death was horrid. I cried my eyes out when she died, her character was pure magnificence. I still have mad respect for Joss, and you all should too.
Yeah, I also find it a bit odd that Tara's last words are "your shirt", but that also shows how unfair her death is, she does not leave magnificently, she just leaves. Quickly. Too quickly. I will never forgive Joss for killing her :'( she was the best character on the show. I know it was important for her to die so Willow could become Dark Willow blablabla but when I watch this scene it makes me just so MAD !!!
@LonlyLittleVegGirl43 Well, the producer said that he really wanted to kill off one of the main characters at this point, and he figured Tara's death would hit audiences the hardest, which I believe it did. I was horrified when she died... :(
@LonlyLittleVegGirl43 Absolutely true. There was a script for the last episode where Buffy was suppose to get a wish, and she would've spent the entire episode wondering what to wish for, and at the end she was suppose to tell Willow that she got a nice pair of shoes. Willow was suppose to ask, " Buffy, did you use your wish on shoes?" and Buffy was suppose to say, " No, silly!" Then, she would've stepped aside and revealed Tara being back to life. That would've been so great! * sigh*
@TonyWilliams1988 Accidentally removed my last comment. That would have been wonderful if they brought her back. They were such a lovable couple (even though Anya and Xander were great too). Too bad they couldn't get Amber Benson back. There are some great fanfics that used and expanded that script, just too bad the show couldn't have done that. *grumble*
@LonlyLittleVegGirl43 I truly disagree about bringing her back: the whole point of the Willow's Season 6 end arc is accepting and getting over Tara dying. If they brought her back the show would lose all integrity (let's bring back Joyce and everyone else that died too). While Tara's death WAS pretty awesome, it would have been more interesting to see Willow progress to being evil instead (cut the "magic=drugs" crap and make it about power instead).
