He turned down job offers from the CIA and FBI after the war. He despised the scum who controlled the war racket. We went to peace and civil rights demonstrations in Washington together. Many of my relatives had ties with the military, some with top secret security clearance at the Pentagon, NSA and elsewhere. War is profitable, not noble.
