I tried this today at my local retailer and I have to say I was disappointed. It's the freakin' iris man...it's not that I can't stand it, but I just don't think it smells good. The drydown is ok but still the iris is messing me up. Gonna try it again tomorrow and see what the girls at my unversity think.

there is no makeup/lipstick accord in Dior Homme Intense;

but, in Dior Homme, it is very much so there due 2 these 3 notes:

( ORRIS + CACAO + LEATHER)

the iris note is more of a powdery or baby powdery type of scent...not makeup/lipstick

the makeup/lipstick accord is the orris note accentuated even more when combined with the leather note...F Y i

so it's "ORRIS" not iris !

Dior Homme Intense has the "iris" instead of the "ORRIS" that is in Dior Homme...the makeup note is way less intense in the intense version...so the chemistry of the iris in Dior Homme Intense...gives it more of a powdery sweet-playdough accord...

(most of the time) Parfum is less air-ie cause it has less alcohol. So, it doesnt project as far.. cause it doesnt open up. Its stronger within its proximity/scent bubble. (just how I view it)
