@blauzing The music is called The Chant of Metta, as Brett said. It is a Buddhist chant - a prayer which sends out blessings to the world. You can find the translation online. The music is really perfect as the act of hair cutting in solidarity is really like a prayer of blessing. Do you get it now?

Thank you all for such wonderful comments.We are nearly at the 2 year anniversary of the video and Pam (Gumbo) is doing great! I'm happy to report that she is currently cancer-free -- a beautiful survivor who is an positive and powerful force now in the fight against breast cancer.

Yes. The Flowbee works as an attachment to a vacuum cleaner. The vacuum pulls the hair into the cutting head. The clippings end up in the vacuum bag. In the video I used scissors first because it doesn't work well for cutting off long lengths of hair.

I purchased a Flowbee for Caroline as a gag gift (it had been the subject of a running joke for several years). Then (I can't recall why) we actually tried it. It worked really well. We've been using it for all our haircuts since.
