Never seen them plow into the center of the road like that before. Normally they just push it off the street and fill up the end of everyones driveway. Must be pretty wide streets to able to do that.
There's lots of open land yet all the houses are built right next to each other. Leaves no place to put all the snow by end of winter, doesn't it (as there really aren't too many mid-winter thaws to melt down the piles each year)?
I always wanted to visit Yellowknife. Thank you for posting this video. I bet those houses have high heating bills.

You would think summer is a more exciting time in Yellowknife than winter.
