@bbbbbb222222 Lol ok well they did with every other program check em I didnt know they actually did kill ones for this program in which case i agree with you that it is wrong but if they didnt kill the ones they found in that area they would wipe out the natural ecosystem thats already in place so its a necessary evil i suppose. not that it makes it any more pleasant

@bbbbbb222222 This isn't an 'entertainment show' like fucking X Factor or Britain's got wannabes. This is scientific and very interesting, so people can understand how these wonderful creatures actually live and have adapted to do so. Every single animal they use on this programme has died of natural causes, thus in most cases they are trying to figure out what caused the animals death.

@PassionatelyDramatic They were going through the standard procedures and allowed the cameramen to record this event. Remember that there's currently a severe problem with the invasive Pythons in the Everglades, and they've been trying to eradicate them. People have been asked to kill them whenever they see them, and scientists use the bodies for different aspects of their research. (Looking for parasites, estimating overall health, see if they've been eating endangered species, etc.)

@PassionatelyDramatic They were probably bought from a warehouse that keeps dead animals, so yes, they may have been indirectly killed for this show if not died of natural causes and donated to the warehouse.
