I do have issues with the animation as well, but i gives it a stop motion feeling that I'm actually liking. Well.... The game looks like an old russian cartoon. BUT this is a complement - i don't know if you watched "The hedgehog in the fog", but if anyone who'll watch it will find it a bit scary - the animation there is quite creepy and the atmosphere there is too frightening for a child...
This game really copyes that atmosphere and if the movements will stay so shifty this game will surely be scarier than the original!

Looks like a bad PC game from the 90s. Mainly due to the bad frame rate of the animations. Like you mentioned in the warning.

Although, I prefer the snes version of barrows mansion.This one looks like something that you would find in silent hill. Love the art though.
Also Bobby should wear his school uniform and not a cloak. I believe he is more scary that way
