  • wait a minute, this looks like the robot is doing something very difficult like picking peaces up who are randomly lying to put thm on nice 2 by 2 on next conveyer, but they are also in first conveyer in the same sample, so you can easely programm the robot to pick up the peaces, what happens if the first peaces really are put in randomly. then the robot would overkill. try this if you would then i would see this again.

  • this is the biggest wast of energy i ever saw! damint modafocas!!

  • nice beat

  • not fast enoght for what i wonted for suck aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ball long time high hurry up and die ok

  • it reminds me to deadspace

    don't ask me why :S

  • Look at one robot saying to another "stop putting these things back your asshole, I'm getting tired!"

  • amazing!

  • and they wonder why theres no more jobs in america!! hwo can you compete with that!??!

  • @mean71cuda , there are still jobs in America, but not as boring as the one which would have required a human to move those items over to another conveyor, if you want to learn, you go to school and learn how to program that beast ... more fun than just sitting there going nuts doing that job for 8 hrs every day, isn't it ?

  • @2008koss there arent gonna be 5 programers wrking on that robot where as there could be 5 'dumb' people working for minimum wage doing that.. then again who wants 'dumb' people to survive? XD

  • such precision

  • y the fuck did this vid get 4 stars? technology haters? ;/

  • Amazing video. Great camera angles, great sound. Great robot!

  • hope there never be a lose parts on that thing

  • the source is in a fixed pattern too.

  • It could replace ONE or TWO human workers BUT.. how much do one of these machines cost??? Like a million dollars probably!

  • They're only expensive because new robots are one of a kind custom built rigs. Once they enter mass production they become many many times cheaper.

  • they have the precision accuracy of a micro-meter

so i guess they can build assemble a computer system in no time

  • @willzville1988

And they don't take breaks or complain.

  • @willzville1988

A Quattro robot costs approx $50-60K.

  • It could be going a quarter as fast and still be doing a far better job than a human.

  • Time to go to school to learn how to repair robots, I suppose.

  • @perv33 that's a verry smart thing to say

  • @perv33 Better scratch that, they'll be building and repairing themselves soon enough! :p

  • Good Bye Factory jobs! lol. I wonder if it can make sandwiches too...

  • Awesome vid.

However the ABB IRB 360 will match its speed and accuracy. There are slight differences nevertheless, this robot have a much higher reach 500mm (IRB360 300mm), whereas the IRB360 can handle 3kg (adept 2kg).

    5 stars!

  • Is it using a vacuum gripper?

  • Sounds like one, looks like one, should be one...

But it has 2 of those vacuum-tube-thingies on its gripper...

Can I get one of those things with a range of 4mx4m? Never cleaning up again :D

  • No it wouldn't, a vision system can be used :)

  • it'd be better if the pieces were put in ramdom order...then this robot'd have some problems...

  • i think you have it backwards, he IS putting them in order the WERE random

  • Actually both sides are fixed patterns, input and output.

  • It would be better if they came in orderly and the robots job was to just fuck everything up.
