  • Love stihl nicer quality saw

  • you can get them in the us

  • FF to 1:12 and avoid the BS.

  • up here in British Columbia where we fall real timber, Stihl is the saw of choice for professional fallers. 660's for general use an 880's for the big ones.. stock too.. the kids get their saws hopped up but us old timers know how to file.. you can put any kid with a hot saw to shame by just learning how to properly file a chain.. the chain is everything. end of story..

  • @MrMeanderthal ..hey dumb FUCK?! take your REAL timber and shove it up your ass..why are you watching american guys cutt on wood when it is all about b/c?...dumb ass

  • @hawaiiankillahulua reading comprehension is not your strong suit is it..?

    IT'S All ABOUT SHARP CHAIN

  • @hawaiiankillahulua ahh, you're from Hawaii... land of leftwing Democrats.. never mind..

  • @MrMeanderthal HAHAHAH im laughing because i agree with you...there are alot of stupid ass leftwing wackos over here.. they wanted change..well they got it...off of politics and on to the arborist subject at hand....

  • I find the guys who try to rubbish Huskys, DON'T OWN ONE AND HAVE NEVER USED ONE. Can't figure out that logic???

  • I think u gots 2 hand file the chain on the stihl!

  • my gawd! that 390xp is a beast. that thing cuts faster then my 395xp stock!

  • the 660 sounds like it is luged how if it was to be humming right it would smoke the 288 the 395 out cut any but drinks the most gas as for the life spand the 660 will out life them all

  • I HATE STIHLS, YOU HAVE TO PULL YOUR BRAINS OUT TO GET THEM LIT. THEN THEY WONT STAY OUT OF THE REPAIR SHOPS.. HUSKYS ARE SO MUCH SUPERIOR AS A PRO SAW. AFTER 25 YEARS OF RUNNIN BOTH, HUSKY IS THE BEST. HANDS DOWN..

  • I can get Art tic stihl saws here in Missouri.

  • @tufferenhell The 046 and 066 w/full wrap handle bars? The owner of this 066 told me they are not available in the US. I, personally, never tried to buy an 066 Nuker. I did own an 046 warm though.

  • @hotsaws101 Yeah, they only sell heated full wraps in Canuckia.

  • Good video brother! Them old boys, like Gene, are the salt of the earth. . . We can learn a lot from them fellas.

I take it you had to bore the carbs to keep up with the extra scavenging from the porting?

  • @FRUNTCASTER Yes, and the extra flow from the relieved mufflers. But sometimes it is to much since the ratio of air is soooooo much higher. YAH,,,, when I get rich and famous, I will bore about 10 in very close incremental up steps and then dyno them. It's the only way to be exact, however after running saws for so long you can kind of tell what is what by the way they pull. Just not in tenths of a hp if you know what I mean.

    Thanks for watching!

  • I didn't know there where trees in Nevada, lol! In terms of big bore kits, the only one that isn't any good is the 066 bb kit. I've heard good word on the 372 bb kit.

  • i got a 660 with a big bore and its pretty fast. but that 395 is a fast cutting saw.

  • @JRFFRB I have worked on a few of the 660 BBs. Not really impressed. The last 2 660s with stock bores out of Nevada ran way better.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Orange all the way!

..Find it hard to believe there are so many saws coming out of Nevada. I mined the gold belt around Elko, and I'm convinced there aren't any trees in that state!

  • @collinrogers1190 HA! HA! There are thousands of acres of timber in the Sierra Nevada mountains west of Reno to the north and south. So the trees are mostly in Eastern Cali. which is where these guys are working, I believe.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Thanks for the video!
