The first time I heard this on the local radio station in 2002 I made a point to call the deejay and tell him how awful it was. "Why does that guy sound like he got kneed in the nuts" was my exact comment. Fast forward 10 years, here I am listening to them nonstop from that point on. This is now one of my favorite songs of all time, and one of my favorites to play and sing. Time goes on, I listen to this same music, I find some new layer of it to fall in love with. Long live Jack White.
