few questions. can you land on a planet? can you fly to the other planets by not using any jumps or warps?

You cannot land on a planet on your own, some single player missions will be on the planet but other than that no you cannot land on a planet.

Jump gates and Warp drives are the only ways to get around on X3 as far as i know.

Why they didnt put in some bands a mercenarys?I playing currently wit the game okey some times i playing with.

But the comp cheating on a level what i didnt like.Did somebody tried to conqer the pirates?Or we lack that option to?

this game is singleplay, and the main interest is building up a trade/military empire.

rastar oil is also a good way of making cash in split/boron sectors.

i got 3 rastar/chelt factories pumping the stuff out. maximum profit for 1 unit of rastar oil = 716 credits and my caiman superfreighter can get 1600 units in its cargo hold. thats just over 1,000,000 profit per full cargo hold.

man after seeing this vid I just GOTTA play it too.. It looks so good and u can actualy feel the space-quietness =D Gotta love it.. reminds me a bit of the new Battlestar Galactica series.. Thank you for poisoning my brains with X3 (yeh that's a good thing! ;])

well there is a campaign. and then there is what your personnal goal are. You can build economic, military, trading, empires. Or simply conquer the universe system by system with huge fleet

it be cool if you were asined to a battle station and have like a clan thing build up ships for a fleet and you get ranks for your ability like star trek youd be a red guy lol i dont watch the show though

yeah... Well the best game i know for multiplayer and space was DarkSpace. A MMO of space that was great. I leaded many fleet assault! one of the most intense space sim i ever played. but now it's getting old...

hehe, well that's a scout, it's not really make for combat. It's more make to explore and move single passenger around. So I'm a little bit crazy to get into fight with that ship... but it cost 56 000 credit... globaly i have arround 200 000 credit... can't do much with that...

hehe, well that's one of the fastess ship =) But note that it's a huge environment. It seem small because of the speed.
