I don't like the Duggars much . I think its wrong for parents to continue to have babies and then ASSIGN one of the older kids to take care of one of the toddlers, etc. What a bad mother; you had that baby, YOU TAKE CARE OF IT.

I personally think the Duggar family is a beautiful family. They arent deprived of their studies, and they have music appreciation such as piano, violin, harp, singing songs. Its not my thing to have that many kids, but there are families out there that want a big family, and also the episode where the dad JimBob took the daughters to a campout, not only did he take his daughters, he took two others that werent his, so they are reaching out to other people.
Generally, the only people that tend to bad mouth families like the Duggers are people who are unhappy with their own lives. I have tried to help my children to understand that happy people want others to be happy and unhappy people want others to be miserable too. It is a sad fact but true. I wanted a house full of younguns but God had other plans for me. Because i have a small family, i can reach out to others like you were talking about. ; - )

Just reading some comments I missed earlier, about the school grounds, I'm not sure how they are in other States but in my State the school playgrounds are actually public playgrounds, there seems to be a rule that it's only used by school kids during school hours but after hours anyone can play. When my kids were young there were some issues with ment disabled men going onto playgrounds, not to harm but to act ment disab.

I also just watched the skating episode again and there ARE other people there that are not the Duggar family. 1:48 was one spot, the Duggar Girls had on dresses and those girls sitting down from g'ma and Jessa where in jeans (where Amy comes up and asks what size shoe). And I still say it was done in the afternoon because of the camera crew.

Oh yeah, a lot of these kids, I know personally who live on or around my block. Duggars kids will never know what it's like to really go skating n do parties like this. Here, every Fri-Sat nite. Also glad to know your skating rink is drug free... Ours became drug central in the late 80's early 90's and eventually shut down because once the police had to be called every night the last 3 months it was opened they shut it down because they could get no business (parents quit bringing their kids) They never did reopen it either.
My kids will never know this either because the ONE skating rink I found in this area has the same problem, and has actually had a shooting at it in the last 6 months.

What they are doing is art. Taking AA dancing back in time and adding new culture of AA's dancing to it. Very talented. And the little one you see first, he plays the guitar and keyboards very well.

volunteer work is pure and helping, it's what good christian does. It seem like the Duggars would want to film that. My opinion, they don't film it because it doesn't happen. Last year JimBob and several of the kids went to another Country and gave out food and Christmas gifts to the children there. I don't actually watch the new episodes of this show but seem to catch some of the reruns so don't know if they've done other volunteer work.
I saw that video nancylp. But um that country didn't not donate funds, clothing and money to the Duggars when they were supposedly trying to rebuild their home, feed and close their 18 kids. What about doing something in America first, since American viewers are keeping their show on. They haven't done any volunteer works.

Yes, I remember that episode, I think they had to serve about 100 people, they brought the food with them and cooked it for them. That was a good episode, It seems like JimBob was doing a lot of the cooking that day.

Actually you might want to do your homework, you have told a lot of lies without one thing to back it up. I live in a Western State that has a lot of homeschoolers and I homeschooled mine one year after a dispute with the school but sent them back the next year when we worked it out. Homeschooling is a right we all have as parents as long as certain laws are followed they chose to homeschool but a portion of thier taxes still go to pay for public schools.

Yes, the skating ring we have is drug free. There's security all around with black shirts on that say SECURITY on them. No nudity, drugs, weapons, sexual contact... none of that craziness. Just plain good old fashion family and friends fun. Very safe inside. That's a shame about your skating ring. Skating ring here are always poppin and such fun. This is the most disgusting family. I would love nothing more than to see the Duggars in divorce court and child-custody hearings. Let's see if having all those kids was really worth it then when they start initiating proceedings for child support payments. I really hope the bottom falls out of thier marriage. I love this family. It's amazing how wonderfully they have raised their family. I really admire them and I think they are a wonderful testimony to their faith.

this family sickens me. they're part if a religious cult called Quiverfull. they don't believe in any form of birth control. the kids put on a happy face for tv, but all they are are a bunch of slave children for the selfish parents who keep popping out babies and can't keep their legs closed.

I don't like the Duggars much . I think its wrong for parents to continue to have babies and then ASSIGN one of the older kids to take care of one of the toddlers, etc. What a bad mother; you had that baby, YOU TAKE CARE OF IT.
Siblings should be capable of looking after one-another once in a while but NOT LIKE THAT.

I personally think the Duggar family is a beautiful family. They arent deprived of their studies, and they have music appreciation such as piano, violin, harp, singing songs. Its not my thing to have that many kids, but there are families out there that want a big family, and also the episode where the dad JimBob took the daughters to a campout, not only did he take his daughters, he took two others that werent his, so they are reaching out to other people.

Generally, the only people that tend to bad mouth families like the Duggers are people who are unhappy with their own lives. I have tried to help my children to understand that happy people want others to be happy and unhappy people want others to be miserable too. It is a sad fact but true. I wanted a house full of younguns but God had other plans for me. Because i have a small family, i can reach out to others like you were talking about. ; - )

Just reading some comments I missed earlier, about the school grounds, I'm not sure how they are in other States but in my State the school playgrounds are actually public playgrounds, there seems to be a rule that it's only used by school kids during school hours but after hours anyone can play. When my kids were young there were some issues with ment disabled men going onto playgrounds, not to harm but to act ment disab.

I didn't say THEIR uncles or Aunts did, what I said was that since I HAD known people that gave away nearly new things simply because they could no longer wear them that it was possible that the Duggars could get the same types of things.
As the kids got OLDER the clothes also changed, and yes I do see second hand things and things that can be gotten second hand all over their house (since you asked)

I also know of at least one web auction site where they could have bought every computer in their house for less than 100.00.
Not 2 weeks ago 35 lap tops (minus the OS) sold for 250.00.
And that site has auctions like that and on cars, boats, and everything else and they go for dang near pennies on the dollar.

Duggars idea of fun is piling up older sibs with younger and not inviting kids their own age. Siblings at skating b-party, eat pizza, play few skate games among themselves, cut cake and then leave. I have seen episodes where the Duggars are playing with other kids, and not just the Bates.
I also just watched the skating episode again and there ARE other people there that are not the Duggar family. 1:48 was one spot, the Duggar Girls had on dresses and those girls sitting down from g'ma and Jessa where in jeans (where Amy comes up and asks what size shoe). And I still say it was done in the afternoon because of the camera crew.

Never broken any laws, some r str8 A's students, very talent n the music and dance dept. workin parents who pay taxes n mortgage on their home n just barely getting by. Oh yeah, a lot of these kids, I know personally who live on or around my block. Duggars kids will never know what it's like to really go skating n do parties like this. Here, every Fri-Sat nite. Jamz shuts down and turn skating into a dance floor. Keeps the kids off the street, out of trouble an just let them have fun with other kids their own age dat's aren't sibilings. Also glad to know your skating rink is drug free... Ours became drug central in the late 80's early 90's and eventually shut down because once the police had to be called every night the last 3 months it was opened they shut it down because they could get no business (parents quit bringing their kids) They never did reopen it either.

Sorry, downsiding to what you hear on tv. these kids in these video's aren't surrounded by guns, drugs, fightings, nudity, having babies etc. Does it look like they are into girls. What they are doing is art. Taking AA dancing back in time and adding new culture of AA's dancing to it. Very talented. And the little one you see first, he plays the guitar and keyboards very well.

The older kids have activities OUTSIDE the house. Several of the older girls do volunteer work that the Duggars will NOT let them film simply for the privacy of the people they are helping.
And NO I did NOT get it off the Duggar site I got it off Duggar comment site and the person posting it was complaining about the fact that though the kids DO go out and do things, the Duggars won't let it be filmed.

Jessa or whatever her name is, just prove to many that they just want to be kids and do kids things. ie. Throwing bagels at camera crew is their only idea of what real fun without siblings is like. They haven't done the reality show for very long, there had been a couple of specials I guess. They were debt free for years, JimBob had all kinds of jobs till he got into RealEstate and bought his commercial properties, who really cares if one is a cell phone tower? Unlike J&K+8 they will be able to support thier family when the show ends because they did it before. Who really cares if they buy used? I'm sure GoodWill or whatever love to see them coming.

The show title this airs on TV is "Star Spangled Duggars" in that episode some one supposedly announces "Jim Bob paid for the ingredients" As the episode has not be published to you tube nor is it posted on TLC as a full video or HULU I can not say for sure exactly what was said or who said it.

Yes, I remember that episode, I think they had to serve about 100 people, they brought the food with them and cooked it for them. That was a good episode, It seems like JimBob was doing a lot of the cooking that day.

2) Any one they film must sign waivers to be on the show, and most people do NOT want to be on National TV accepting help.

1) Most schools I know of let parents bring their kids to the playgrounds at the schools when school is out (after school, weekends, summer time) and they don't ask if you go there first :P

Actually you might want to do your homework, you have told a lot of lies without one thing to back it up. I live in a Western State that has a lot of homeschoolers and I homeschooled mine one year after a dispute with the school but sent them back the next year when we worked it out. Homeschooling is a right we all have as parents as long as certain laws are followed they chose to homeschool but a portion of thier taxes still go to pay for public schools.

You said they paid no property taxes, declaring thier home a church with nothing to back it up, if it's true you should have no problem producing the proof. Also that they don't pay taxes to support public schools, again, you said it so post the proof to support what you said. Once "School Daze" is posted by some kind person you will see where the Duggars talk about paying taxes that go to support the local schools.
Property taxes are where schools get their money from.

Thanks, I tried to look up that episode too and it's not posted yet obviously but you saw it too. I think I proved MsSarcia wrong on the other point, perhaps she just made a mistake, happens to all of us. I loved the skating, we had kids that could do that as well, in fact before they shut the rink down my brother was one of them.
When we went on vacation in another small town we went to that skating rink and he would wow them with his ability.

Yes, the skating ring we have is drug free. There's security all around with black shirts on that say SECURITY on them. No nudity, drugs, weapons, sexual contact... none of that craziness. Just plain good old fashion family and friends fun. Very safe inside. That's a shame about your skating ring. Skating ring here are always poppin and such fun. It not only has a skating ring, it has rides for little ones, games and eating area as well. Ppl take their children's there after church on Sunday 2.

Yes, Jamz has hardwood floors that goes n a circle, n da inside of the ring is a dance floor which has carpet. I'm gonna show you a better video of Jamz later on today. So be lookin for it. No, it's not a big place. It's rather small actually. But when it get pack, it's PACK! How come da Duggars don't take the little ones to places like the children's please touch museum, Chuck'e Cheese, chocolate factory, sesame places... things of that nature? They Went to a chocolate Factory in VEGAS (go figure) on their vacation documentary. They took them to a science museum somewhere, they took them to the safari park, as for the other who knows... to expensive? to far away? the places don't want the camera crews? who knows...

I didn't c the VEGAS chocolate factory show. (go figure) and I saw that older museum 1 they went to. Not talking about dat kind of museum. Here we have museum for toddlers and under 10. Where they can get into space ship, drive it, where they see how electric, paper etc. is done, live the life of adventure of when things were made and how they were created. N please spare me the expensive part. All the Duggars do is spend money travelin here and there. Camera crew will go wherever da Duggars go.

The Gosselins are real? Puleezze! Gratefully J&K+8 will not be producing any new shows so that fiasco can eventually go away. The Duggers believe in a way that most of us don't, it's very real to them, they live by thier interpretation of the Bible. I have a lot of respect for them in that they are able to actually raise thier kids with minimal damaging outside inflences and the kids are obviously thriving.

Aside from their nasty divorce, Kon plus 8 brought in millions of viewers and still are, making TLC more money then they could ever hope to ever earn with the Hillbilly barefeet bumpkins Duggars. This is the most disgusting family. I would love nothing more than to see the Duggars in divorce court and child-custody hearings. Let's see if having all those kids was really worth it then when they start initiating proceedings for child support payments. I really hope the bottom falls out of thier marriage. I am appalled by all the rude comments about the Duggar family. They are a wonderful, loving group with sweet, wellbehaved children which is more than many can say. They may have their hands full, but they are getting along quite well. People think they are disgusting? Their kids aren't knocked up, shacked up, drugged up, or drunk all the time. THAT would be disgusting! With 18 kids running around, they did a fabulous job at raising up a wonderful group of people. People should have more respect

Many judgmental and rude comments and you don't even know them. They are good people .. they take care of themselves and all their own kids. They don't receive handouts from the government or anything. And perhaps the older kids do not mind helping with the younger ones. Have you asked them? As far as all the trash 1 person makes ..
