  • I went to a lecture given by Prof Zeeman (Warwick) in 1978. If only CGI had been around then...!!

  • i guess its pretty cool. doesnt really blow my mind, but took me a second to wrap it around it

  • wow i didnt see what was so cool about it until the 3rd time i watched it

  • can you explain to me why it is?

  • i don't get it.

what's that quoter on the red disc means?

  • Nop.

catastrophe in greek means "full turn".

    cata (KATA= down or ultimate)

strophe (ΣΤΡΟΦΗ (it is spealing "strofi")= turning)

  • Why is it a catastrophe?

  • Because the black point on the top drops down to the lower level when passing over the edge. Imagine that the top black ring represents the state of the economy. Even though the whole surface of possible states is smooth, there can be a catastrophic change from one instant to the next.

  • haha, but great explanation anyway

  • lol you got pwned bothmer

  • @bothmer WTF ??

  • THATS

    FUCKING

    CRAZY!!!!!

  • xtra, i found a similar form called an invariant manifold, or seperatrix (a point where a stable and unstable(seperatrix) from the same fixed point(or family)intersect. further called a homoclinic point(appear where chaotic regions touch in hyperbolic space, many manifold diagram formulas/diagrams. also curve responsive acceleration, and tempo fold.

  • ignore them, although you could call it a tarry point or (area), or a disjunctive continuity,

  • Ah my bad, I thought it was supposed to be some kind of deep emo thing cuse some emo kid sent it to me. Sorry bout the slam there lol.

  • What the FUCK was that supposed to be?

  • il disvelarsi dell'essere-nella-verità quale essere-la-verità per essere per la verità dell'essere creata opera d'arte dell'essere-in-verità ontoepistemica dell'essere-nell'epistemè quale essere-per-l'epistemè, la com-prensione-apprensione dell'essere-in-epistemè-opera d'arte.
