  • Your vid is a favorite on India

  • This has inspired me to learn a lot more chords on the guitar. It sounds so heartfelt and smooth. Thank you.

  • Great lesson!!! in the video you said "it's a ii-v-i chord....following the circle of 5ths" but in reality isn't it following the circle of 4ths?, which is much more musical then the circle of 5ths.

  • @madproductionsound The circle of 4ths is just the circle of 5ths backwards.

  • haha just my favorite part is "i play it like this... or like this... and like this. then i play this like this... or like this... or like this." love the lesson though dude, im definately gonna be checking this website out. on a side note, m7 chords are the best things ever.

  • this sounds very sweet! boy, jazz is really great :D

  • Very valuable lesson- Thanks!

  • awesome man! i'm new on your site and its very good, thanks for the pdf!

  • @vincentvinc1 Hey thanks a bunch for checking out my site. I hope to continue making it a bigger and better resource for guitarists every week. Hope to see you there a lot!!

    Cheers!! Carl..

  • It will be cool if you can show in other video the ii V i in minor keys the ii being half diminished. Great job!!!!

  • I'm not sure if you have anything up yet like this, but I was wondering if you could do a lesson on soloing over top of the ii - V - I chord progression.

  • how can i determine progressions in certain keys i.e. I IV V?

i don't know much interval theory

  • I love that sound... For some reason it reminds me of Costa del Sol in Final Fantasy 7.

  • Outstanding! Can't wait to get home and work on it.

  • wow... I'm so damn lost. All I know is just simple progressions for pop and rock music...

  • these lessons are so good

  • I have a question. IN the key of C Major, would you consider the three chords resolved or unresolved. E minor7 and A minor 7. Would you consider these two chords "Resolved".

  • @joeyguitarlo Hey there, the A minor 7 would sound more resolved, besides C maj it would be the most likely chord to rest on. The 3rd most likely would be E minor 7 since it is built of of the 3rd of the scale which is Mi and gives a resting quality. However, the E minor 7 also contains the 7th note of the scale (Ti) which is a very active leading half-step, therefore decreasing its resolved sound. Hope that makes since. :)

  • very jazzy sounding indeed. i gotta learn more punky sounding stuff though. my friend wants to start a punk band and i like totally wanna do the guitar bits.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana learn song black flag and minor threat bro

  • @flipperboy word, their stuff is easy. we're actually trying to bring that old school hardcore punk sound back except heavier what with better equipment and louder bass lines.

  • cool..Carl : )

  • very interesting rythm lesson!

  • Awesome lesson man. Freaking awesome lesson. Man you take so much time to put these together, thank you.
