    One question: How and where do you make holes in the body to allow the water to seep out into the water catch area?

  • If you are doing a two-in-one piece, there are a few things that i've learned. One, is to ues a paint sponge to get into the crevas between the two and dry it out as much as possible. Two, is in the trimming. If you trim too much the stress in drying will cause something like an "s" crack accept it spans the whole base. You want to leave the trimming to a thickness similar to the width of the wall on the upper piece so that drying is more even throughout.
