It doesn't get better than this. I give Stevie alot of credit for going it alone at this time when Bruce launched his Born In the USA tour. He gave up alot of bucks but to his credit gave us a great album "Men Without Women." One of my favs.
Actually, at the time he left Bruce, Little Steven released "Voice of America." (the original poster was Steve standing in front of an American flag.)Fabulous album as is "Men Without Women"...I always liked him better than Bruce.
okay #1 this song is from Men Without Women and #2 Stevie is way better than Johnny b/c Johnny can't even write his own music and he would not even had a band if it weren't for Stevie
I was there. We had tickets in the back, but the dudes in our seats wouldn't give them up. We told an usher, who said he'd find us seats. He sat us behind the lift for the camera, 10th row center. We basically we had a whole section to ourselves, with no obstruction. It was God's gift to Steve's disciples of soul!
I love this song so fucking much, I can't tell you. That whole album, most of Voice of America, all of Freedom-No Compromise, some of Revolution, and most of Born Again Savage even though I'm an atheist.
I've got a couple on a video I haven't captured. The video for Forever and some German Rockpalast live stuff. I need a new capture card so stay tuned.

Little Steven's real name is Sephanie Van De Graf Generater. He is only 2 ft tall and usually performs on stilts.
Southside Johnny comes from up north and isn't very good at all.

I got backstage at a gig around '87. He was as cool as you'd want and sat with us talking politics for over an hour.
