I bought this camera after testing a number of Nikons

The Audio and stereo is amazing Also very little lens noise on zoom

They were good ...not great. Not as sharp as my previous SX10is. For 12mp they should have been better ...not worse! I believe the sensor was optimized for the video function. Just depends on what you actually need whether its good for you.

Easy.. Burn on a day right after a big rain, keep a sharp eye on what's going on and have a garden hose nearby just in case!

I did not like the still pictures the SX20 produced. I returned it and switched to the Panasonic FZ35 which is way better for stills.
