Very good PR answer. Objectivists and those who appreciate Rand's philosophy like myself typically know religion is a crock of bull; Yaron did a great job of not stepping on any toes.
Jefferson, Franklin and Paine were deists, and were heavily skeptical of the power of churches as well. If they had known about Darwin's theory of Evolution, they'd have been atheists or at least agnostics. But Washington, Madison and Adams were much more in favor of the personal god idea whom you could pray to. That said, they all realized that government had to be secular. It was another wise limitation of the power of leaders. Republicans, please take note.
