Paid $500 for the nuvi 3790T and this does not work. I called and spoke to Garmin as this function is "supposed" to work out of the box on this unit. They claim it has not been implemented extensively across North America and if you want it, you will either need to pay $100 for lifetime map updates or purchase individual updates when it has been implemented. Garmin stated to me it doesn't even work in Kansas City, which is where their headquarters is. VERY DISHONEST ADVERTISING - STAY AWAY!

does any body have any idea what is the thing on the right at 0:04 ? it shows you the road ? but how do you read it ? from top down or bottom up? or do anyone know whats it s called ?

how do you use the junction view and lane assist? do you have to press the upper left side? or it is automatice whenever your in that situation? i just bought a garmin 1390T last night and havent explored much yet thanks

Wondering if the Lane Assist on this one is exclusive to UK or Europe? I have contacted Garmin asking about Lane Assist on 255w or 265W and they say it is not available on those models. I would have to buy the 7xx line to get that feature. I even asked if they had certain maps with this feature - they said no. I got the impression that I was asking to many questions to the support person. I want to have all of my ducks in a row to make an informed buying decision. THANKS

The UK version doesn't have lane assist, and it doesn't have text to speech which is something else I've noticed some people showing on a 255w unit on youtube, must have difference versions for difference countries, and looks like the UK got the worst one.
