@NoobGamerV2 Aegisub. It's a little hard to use and you have to reencode the video in Virtual Dub after you're done, but it's free and gives good results.

@NoobGamerV2 You can change the font, yeah. I use the font "TF2 Build," which can be extracted from the TF2 game files using GCFScape.

@Pugamahone91 The enemy Spy disguise is a pretty decent choice now that it has a fake disguise. The main reason I use it is out of habit- it used to be that you wouldn't get the Spy's domination voice clips if you were disguised as something else, so I almost always disguised as Spy because they're awesome.

@thehumor I used the Source Recorder. I can't explain it in the limits of a YouTube comment, but if you Google it there are plenty of good tutorials around.

For the music, I put the video into Camtasia Studio, made a second audio track, imported the MP3s, and just dragged them onto the timeline.

@thehumor 1. If they see an "ally" in the wrong place, they'll know it's actually a Spy and be on guard against backstabs.

Spies these days rely too much on cloak these days. It's not like the good old days when you only had 10 seconds of cloak and your wits to rely on.

Why do you use the basic spy equipment?

Because it suits me better.

I prefer the Revolver because I find that it's more reliable (plus I think it looks nicer).

I use the invis watch because I can usually stay cloaked as long as I want thanks to ammo pickups. I occasionally switch if the map is ammo-deprived or I'm having trouble with a chokepoint, but in general I stick with the IW.

It's a modified version of DanielAwesomo's "TF2 Beta-Style Lighting" skin from FPSBanana. I edited it so that it goes from white to black instead of from white to very dark blue.

2. I can't help you there- for me, the commentary is the entire point. I realize some people don't like it, and I respect that, but if you don't then these videos simply aren't for you.

3. That was a joke. I just wasn't really thinking about the Engies at the time and when I was doing the subtitles I realized I could turn it into a 'take that' against Engies.

if u just started don't use the cloak and dagger, far too many spies use infinite cloak as a crutch and end up spending half the map slowly inching their way around the map only to get oneshotted by a random rocket. use ur normal watch for now and metalwhore (wut he does in the vid, going from one metal pack to another for more cloak)
