Connery was great in this film, but i really think they should have cast somebody else in the role of Elliot Ness. Kevin Costner just isn't a good actor. I would have preferred someone like Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, William Peterson, Kyle MacLachlen or Willem Dafoe playing the role all were near the same age and all of them could have given a better performance than Costner
