I was one of the volunteer fire fighters from NSW who went help. It was heartbreaking.

It has been hard over the past couple of years to view all the things that have gone on the internet about these fires that we were in. I have watched this today and 2 1/2 years later as I watch the tears flow freely. Thank you for posting this and helping us all remember those terrible days, and all the wonderful things that came about because of it. People are amazing. Thank you Merelyn Carter

One year on and its still so real. I was there helping with the CFA, this brought me to tears for all thoes people, the trees will regrow the mountins will still stand, now for the people to heal.
