The present "hierarchs" of your of the conciliar Church are so opposed to Catholic Tradition. There are Bishops here in the Philippines like that Cardinal Archbishop of Manila, who'd even refuse to obey the Successor of Peter, his superior the Pope to allow traditional Catholics to have the true mass offered within his jurisdiction. Now the question is why entrust yourself to these wolves? Who allow Catholics to join heretics in "praise and worship" yet deny them the true Catholic worship?

It is my advise that you avoid attending such "Masses" and attend a good Novus Ordo Mass; or better yet attend a licit Tridentine Mass which would greatly value your soul and enhance your Catholicism, against the poison of the modern world.

The Mass of Paul VI, is a diminished version of the Traditional Latin Mass, lacking (meaning "less" not empty) of all these essential aspects. Furthermore, your so-called "Charismatic" Mass is NOT, in my opinion, as represented by the GIRM and the official books of the Roman rite, not a licit Paul VI Mass, rather an illicit, abusive rite distorted to give way to personal, individualistic, and subjective whims of the creators of such an abusive service.

True that the Novus Ordo is a valid and licit Catholic Mass. But the superiority of the Tridentine Mass is that it theologically, doctrinally, mystically and liturgically best represents the once-and-for-all sacrifice of Calvary. It organically grown and nurtured through Church History and doctrinal teaching and precision unlike the Novus Ordo, which is an entirely alien development.

may tanong po ako. kasi naka attend ako sa tridentine at pope paul vi mass. i know both masses carry the same purpose (the word and the eucharist), pero mas dama ko ang Panginoon sa porma ng misa ni papa paulo vi (kasi charismatic yung inaatendan kong misa). dapat na ba akong matakot kasi anti-church nako? masaya naman ako sa pagiging katoliko at hindi ko iiwan ang ating relihiyon, pero masama na po ba akong katoliko? hindi ko na po kasi alam kung tama pa ba na sa pope paul vi mass ako umaatend.

Kapatid, there is a great difference between "feeling" the Lord and having the Lord actually and objectively there. Protestants "feel" the Lord in their heretical services, and so do heathens and infidels, but objectively the Lord despises their abominable sacrifices, and would instead have them come to the true religion of Christ and His Church. On the contrary, it is YOUR feeling that should conform to the reality and the objective substance of the truth, and not vice-versa.

This is the Tradition "handed down" and exemplified by St. Paul in 2 Thess. 2:15, over and against the traditions of men, such as sola scriptura, modernism, ecumenism, liberalism, etc.

Not only that, it also shows that we are in communion with those who once hold (and are still holding) the Catholic faith (e.g. Sts. Augustine, Aquinas, Francis de Assisi, Don Bosco, Maximilian Kolbe, Therese, etc.)The Tridentine Mass is a proof that our Catholic faith goes all the way back from the time of the Apostles, and that the Church we have is in fact the perenial Catholic Church, and not just some anti-Church that spontaneously sprouted in the hippies of the 60's.
