I think you are wrong, the rider DID braked his wheels, just observe the video. He did that in order to regain balance. It IS SKILL PLUS LUCK.

There is no way ascertain that from this clip. The only thing one can remotely see is a throttle blip or cut near the end. He never grabs brake that one can see. The wheels also give no indication. Also, the load on the front suspension is also inconclusive as it is either due to the twitching of the front wheel or his entire body weight coming down on top of it. Sorry, but I still say luck.
