cool, i would drain the hand water back into the tank for reuse....probably fine unless the dog drinks it.

clever. Don't you lose a fair amount of water though, because the toilet tank fills up slower (having to drain from the sink to tank) than if the tank filled up directly?

@crock703 a bit of a late reply but,

from what i see, it refill as normal, only difference is that it passes up thru the valve into the sink hole back to the tank, same amount of water used, only you get to wash your hands with it before it goes into the tank. very smart idea!

No, the amount of water hasn't changed and the fill-up rate is also the same
