the 5770 has as much power as a gtx 260 with added directx 11 support, for dx11 games the 5770 will have better performance, but for other games, its a toss up.

for this game a 9800 gtx+ is enough to run it on decent settings if you have a decent dual core CPU and 4 gigs of decent ram. by decent settings i mean a mix of mid-high settings.

a gtx 275 can max it out in directx 10 mode.

@ninjaseven No wrong, 9800 GTX+ will not be able to run this game at 1600x900 maxed out. My radeon 5750 heavily overclocked to GPu: 900Mhz and gddr5 to 1250Mhz in some places, like beginning when first mosnters appeared showed 20 fps. I am on 4Ghz Core 2 duo with 2000 FSB. My card is a little bit faster then GTS 250. I used win xp sp3 and everything is maxed out. my avg is around 40-47fps.

yea if you're playing through the whole game might as well upload videos. Upload aliens as well!

Are the brief pauses in the video when the audio and a few frames drop a problem with the game, youtube processing, or something else?

Frames is droping- it is a audio and video sync in Moroz Video Capture. It is my solution to keep audio and video synch.
